im passing kidney stones this weekend and getting ready to have all my reproductive organs yanked out of me.
and trying not to get addicted to the pain killers
i got buttered popcorn jelly beans to make me feel better.
Hi Anna.
Kidney stones are very painful and the reproductive surgery is no picnic. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
Speaking of unintended reproductive surgery.
Woman jailed for testicle attack:
no big deal…i mean he has 2 of them.
one of my fantasies is to cut a testicle out and hold it in my mouth….then put it back in and sew it all up.
ive stuck needles thru a few and carved my initials in one…but never got to take one out.
in college i used to do all the little piggies.
i was very good at it.
Regardless whether it’s torn off or in surgery it still traumatic. I hope you come through your surgery with flying colors.
I was so psyched when my friend called to ask me if I wanted to go. I didn’t even know he was playing in Philly.
Sorry about the stones and the surgery – I hope you have plenty of jelly beans and painkillers.
That is so cool. When I came back from a year abroad, my friends picked me up from JFK and told me they had tickets for Pink Floyd that night. It was amazing. Being surprised with a good show makes it all the better. I hope you have a great time.
Softball, soccer, and who knows what on Father’s Day?
I should add I’m purely a spectator. My daughter’s the one who will be doing the heavy lifting, as it were.
Good luck for her game! And I hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day.
Thanks!
I’m doing what I do every weekend – SLACKING!
Going fishing with the folks in the White Mountains of Arizona. Gotta get the eff out of this heat!
White Mountains of Arizona
Now you made me look it up.
It looks wonderful!
I admit to never having heard of them before, curly neither.
It’s an area of instant bliss, especially during the summer. Plus, it’s only a couple of hours away. Or a few hours, depending on the way you drive 😉
I’m sooo envious!
This, coming from someone who doesn’t have to rent a cabin for a weekend to sleep in one. I’m the one who’s envious 🙂
You’re welcome here anytime, ManEE. 🙂
We may be going to a movie tonight. Tomorrow we plan to go see some friends of ours who are performing at a local coffeehouse.
I’m going on a tour of the Winchester Mystery House with a bunch of friends. It’s this bizarre house built by the Winchester heiress. After her husband died, she heard voices that told her she would die if she ever stopped building the house, or something like that. So in her psycho way, she kept adding room after room, but with little or no direction. There are stairs that go nowhere, windows in the floor, etc. We’ve booked a private tour with our friend’s daughter, a docent, who will be able to take us “off the beaten path”.
It is also the start of a week long vacation for me. Godz knows I need it. Sadly, I have lots of chores and errands and am not leaving town. But, I’m really looking forward to sleeping late and relaxing. Just 13 minutes to go! :>)
Hi Kamakhya.
I’ve seen that house on TV before, and thought I would like to tour that.
Hope you get to sleep as late as you want on you vacation. Slack when possible.
Slacking is my middle name. I have a lot on my plate, but I will be sure to schedule in loads of slack time too! Yippee, my first night off and I am playing video games, drinking a couple of beers and blogging…my favorite things. :>0
