Any bets on how many Republicans actually keep their promise to call for a withdrawal plan in September?

There is actually no “withdrawal” from anything. The Illuminati news channels tell me there are any number of potential conflict sites of equal profit potential currently available to the military-industrial complex. If that was not enough the secondary governmental contracts in “security enhancements” I’m sure could pay for Premium Blue Cross health care coverage for all Americans, even if they can’t find a job.
Withdrawal? Who said anything about a withdrawal? No no, see, Septemer was just a deadline for a report on the progress of the Surge, see, not withdrawal. Dontchya know?
That’s a good joke, Booman.
No one’s called dibs on ZERO yet. I get Zero, and I’m giving a-thousand-to-one odds.
A lot or Republicans will call for a withdraw Iraq, but none of them will vote for a withdraw from Iraq.
What I really wanted to post was it appears the Republican Party also hires undocumented aliens too. Like the phrase goes, Show me an anti-immigrant Republican and behind the scene there is an immigrant doing his/her their hard work.

The method would be to first separate themselves politically via a safe cover issue such as immigration, then to cause a disruption such as fomenting an impeachment threat through back channel dicussions with Dems. They could then trade dropping that for a policy change which they will attempt to both sell to America as pained acquiescence to a democratic proposal, all the while ensuring the specifics of that policy ensure the least chance of a domestically acceptable outcome. That way they can resurrect by saying “that’s the LAST time we listen to those cut-and-runners, look what they have done! Those poor dead Iraqis…” Or at least that’s what I’d do if I were them.
To be a contrarian for a minute, let me ask this. What if the Iraq war does go away in time for Nov. 08. It seems to this observer that the Dems. may be caught (once again) holding the bag IF they fail to campaign on other issues as well as an anti Iraq War stance. I’m afraid they are putting too many eggs in that basket, and setting the table for the GOP once again.
Republicans and Generals are back-pedaling on this one faster than Steve Dahl could on his drive time radio program in Chicago with Gary Meyer back in the early 90’s. After he would make some outrageous comment, his wife would call into the show and just rip him a new one. Half the enjoyment was listening to him back pedal.
