that guy is so money, he’s bank.
Wow…sometimes you see something so fundamentally right and wonder how you didn’t think of it first. “Rush and Hannity and Savage know it and other politicians know it too.” F’in perfect.
Someone on the Daily Show needs to give that guy a writing contract. Soon.
And if I weren’t speechless, I certainly wouldn’t be saying anything…
Does this guy have a sister?
This is intended as satire, right? If not, this poor soul needs a keeper.
No, this is not satire…it’s what a couple decades of test-based education (from which this guy obviously dropped out), Murdoch media and Republican memes has done to our grey matter. Seriously, this tape should be in the primer course that every progressive takes before he or she is allowed to run for office or work for someone who does. Question #1 on the final exam: How do you speak to someone like this?
the leading voice of Neo-Cons by passing this video along to friends and foes – at our own pleasure and smirks.
Thanks Booman.
I don’t remember the last time something scared me. . .Oh yeah, it was a minute ago when I listened to this brain washed, brain dead idiot. . .tell me he was being snarky.
No doubt he has access to guns too.
That’s it, I’m moving out of the country.
He’s joking, that’s what is so brilliant about it.
“As long as you’re saying the right things you ain’t got nothin’ to worry about.”
Okay my brain hurts now. It really does. At first I thought this might be some kind of a humorous video and I gave it a chance. When I realized I would have to listen to 9 minutes of this crap, I quit and moved on. That was an hour ago. Now I am back reading the comments and had to force myself through it to find out just what you all saw in it.
This guy is not unique. Go into any small-town redneck bar and you’ll meet several people who are much like him. Fortunately not everyone is as tragically stupid as this guy but this country has more than our fair share of them. Doesn’t it just make your brain hurt?
And I think I noticed a wedding ring. Sorry girls, he’s taken… and probably reproducing too. God help us.
…And we wonder why our president mumbles and talks to us like we’re five year olds. He’s talking to his loyal “base” of geniuses – just like this guy. This is the 27% crowd. And ol’ Rush gets ’em all wound up enough to get out and vote.
Did I say it makes your brain hurt? Like “brain freeze” after drinking a slurpee too fast. You know…
I just went and read the comments on that video at YouTube and he says this is indeed satire. He was only acting to demonstrate the absurdity of the positions.
But he sure fooled me. I am serious. There are so many people just like this guy that it is scary. Really scary.
I guess he fooled a lot of people. Just goes to show what a tremendous performance he gave.
Well, that’s true then that’s a big relief. I was just hoping he was blunted.
What an Actor! Brilliant!
Do you want to know what’s really scary about this video? Go back and take a look at about 7m50s left in the video. This guy appears to be wearing a wedding ring. Yup, Mr. Genius is a breeder. This is what we’ve got to look forward to – more of the living brain dead like this guy. That is frightening.
I hope he has a dozen children. The dude is absolutely brilliant.
I wasn’t sure it was satire: spot on performance.
“we gotta torture people… you can torture me…”
Yes, quite brilliant performance that shows how illogically Bush has acted since 9-11. Yes, because this tortured logic is repeated day after day in our media, far too many people believe that bombing is the only answer to solve the “terrorist” problem.
Sad to say, I had this argument with my husband a few weeks ago. When I said we had real threats during the cold war – thousands of nuclear weapons aimed at us, my husband said “The Russians could think logically and those people can’t.” And my husband is highly educated, a chemical engineer and voted more often for Democrats than I in the last four decades.
I think his thinking has been as influenced by people with whom he worked (retired in Feb.) as much as his own direct contact with the media. Then again, I shouldn’t be surprised because he’s white, was the boss, likes profits, distrusts unions – but still a contradition that he mostly voted Democratic all his life.
I remember the years my husband argued with his very much Republican father against the Nixon and Regan policies. Somehow, Bush and Cheney are no worse than other politicians to him and the war on terror is a threat like no other. He is not alone with misguided thinking, I have friends who donated to Bush’s 2004 campaign that had never donated to any politican’s campaign before. I think they admire Bush’s cowboy mentality and actions. As some baby boomers, they never really grew up, like Bush.
Needless to say, I live where I still see Bush/Cheney 2004 bumper stickers. I saw one yesterday.
