Luna was actually asleep, and remained asleep for a good thirty seconds or so after Albert jumped up there. She woke up when he started scrabbling at her tail.
Milo is taking her mama duties very seriously, but not so seriously that she wasn’t out the following day playing with Sophie, their other Jack Russell Terrier. She has a girl (already spoken for) and two boys.
Thanks, I was really happy with how that photo turned out. I’ve known Milo since she was a pup herself, and she’s normally 4 kilos of pure attitude. The one time she and Luna were together Milo kept circling around behind Luna and bitting her tail – to the point where Luna just wanted to get away.
My friends’ sons (one 16, and one 19 but still living at home) want to keep one of the males, which will bring their family’s pack to three little Terrier terrors. As it is, they have one miniature horse, two goats, three turkeys, dozens of chickens, a cat, parrots, lovebirds, cockatiels, and a whole lot of homing pigeons. Their pet rabbit, rescued many years ago from a parking lot, just died at 12 years of age.
So, of course, it’s a mystery as to what passions we have in common.
The sign says “Heart Attack Hill.” We’re on a trail at the neighboring kids camp and that’s the sign for the short steep trail that junctions at the point.
Not quite as poetic as “Bust-me-Gall” hill, which we drive over on our way to the east coast.
Imogen just called from Melbourne to say she’s checked-in on her Melbourne to Hobart leg (about an hour long flight) and that it’s running on time. So I’ll head out in about 15 minutes.
Maybe you could offer the camp so help on trail naming. Most of their names are pretty blah and obvious, like High Ridge, Low Ridge, Lake Trail, Fern Ridge, Pine Ridge. The exceptions are the Bellapolis, Orion’s Belt and Russtucky (I have no idea what that refers to but I like the sound of it).
I’m afraid there won’t be many (if any) more Hopey in the Pack pictures. If he goes with us at all (which usually he doesn’t), he only goes a short distance and then goes back to house.
Luna, looking regal on her royal purple couch cover.
“Hey, There’s a rabbit in my bed.”
Hi keres.
Luna looks very majestic sitting there. Did Luna grant Albert an audience, or did Albert just barge on in?
Milo looks exhausted and a bit overwhelmed. 🙂

for the size differences alone … 🙂
The photo of Milo up above is fantastic keres, really super work.
I’m afraid Luna is overshadowed this week (I think even Albert can’t complete).
The Pack understand because they (minus Hopeful) have perspective.

p.s. speaking of perspective, you’ve taken a fine perspective shot of that tree.
p.p.s. what does the sign say?

I think it’s a great photo!
Great shot. But any picture without Hopey in it just isn’t the same.
Thanks.

for a great photo Andi.
