Most recently a leak destroyed a critical intelligence resource:
Leak Severed a Link to Al-Qaeda’s Secrets
A small private intelligence company that monitors Islamic terrorist groups obtained a new Osama bin Laden video ahead of its official release last month, and around 10 a.m. on Sept. 7, it notified the Bush administration of its secret acquisition. It gave two senior officials access on the condition that the officials not reveal they had it until the al-Qaeda release.
Within 20 minutes, a range of intelligence agencies had begun downloading it from the company’s Web site. By midafternoon that day, the video and a transcript of its audio track had been leaked from within the Bush administration to cable television news and broadcast worldwide.
A partial list of Busheviki national security disasters:
Failing to properly act on Colleen Rowley’s request for search warrant of Moussaoui’s hard drive.
Pulling out of Army Rangers and failing to block bin Laden’s escape from Afghanistan.
Betrayal of Valerie Wilson
Betrayal of Muhammad Naeem Noor Khan
But this is also a list of Democratic failures to hold Bush accountable for his national security negligence. Every time a Democrat bleats about FISA and national security, we need to ask them why they have consistently failed to hold Bush accountable for earlier failures.
you might include the war in Iraq among the blunders.
It certainly has been a national security disaster. But the ones I listed are transparently disasterous in the traditional use of the term.
In any case my point was that Bush not serious about protecting the country. Any problems with FISA can be resolved after we get a Democratic president as the Repubicans clearly have no intention of protecting the country, as these incidents demonstrate.

Even if the original sites have been “taken down” to Google feeds are still there. Have fun.
“Left” or “right”, both have the same destroy America theme.
Just a small list/tirade…
Frankly, I don’t see anything at all to put in the ‘good job’ column.
10. NSA spying on Americans is certainly a national security disaster. Who’s secure, if they spy on everyone? (free bumper sticker in there for you).
And did I mention Voting Right Security?
11. Oh, and pretty much anything Condi touches seems to be turning into shit. Anyone notice how there are no crowing accomplishments from State lately? What are we paying her for?
The list goes ever on.
