Despite my story below, there’s little chance that John McCain can make a comeback if his idea of campaigning is to call people jerks everytime they ask him a tough question.
Just saying.

A little substance helps.
“McCain laughs off `bomb bomb Iran’ moment.
In April, a questioner asked Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) if an attack on Iran was in the works. “Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran,” McCain responded, to the tune of the Beach Boys’ Barbara Ann. (Watch it.) NBC’s First Read reports that, at an event in South Carolina on Saturday, a man reminded McCain of that moment and asked what he will do now in the wake of the NIE that says Iran has shut down its nuclear program:
McCain’s response: “No thanks for reminding me, you jerk. [Laughter]. I don’t know where the intelligence came from. But, if you are enriching the material then it doesn’t take long to make a nuclear weapon. Second, I don’t detect a change in Iranians behavior…they still pose a threat to our country.”
McCain put his money on the wrong horse. Case closed. He lost.
Why is anyone still talking about McCain? Get it. Slow weekend.
I think you just got a taste of McCain’s temper! It is rumored inside the beltway that he really has a bad one. It is now just coming out for all to see. He is a very lost soul and has been for many years. He is a pretender to be frank. He has been for many years, as a matter of fact. Anyhow,, this is just my $0.2 worth. I just hope America is really not that stupid to see that all of the candidates except for maybe a couple on the democratic side of this horse race is legitimate actors in the whole lunacy of it all. We just really do not have much to choose from. What a bummer.
imo, mccain doesn’t have a chance. the polls aside, the best indicator is the financial condition of his campaign…the big money’s written him off. all their bets are riding on ghouliani, and/or romney, who for all intents and purposes is self-financed.
and, l wouldn’t write off a stealth candidate coming in late and really muddying the waters. bloomberg for example, or gingrinch. this election’s far from over.
frankly, the leading candidates of both parties, with the exception of edwards, leads me to question the whole cw being espoused…all a bunch of losers in my estimation.
l’m really not looking forward to next year’s election, there’s too much risk of business as usual..when what’s called for is a dramatic change.
we shall see.
