Well, we had total meltdown under Bush, the rest of the Dems want to do some timid tinkering, we’re bogged down in personal attack and nerdy “plans”. It’s hard to see how Gravel could do much worse, and he might open things up to give us the new start we need. I guess I’m of the school that believes pretty much anybody randomly chosen would do at least as well as the current crop of pols.
Give good intentions and randomness a chance.
