As a football fan it doesn’t get much better than a playoff game at Lambeau Field in the driving snow. Who are you picks to make the Super Bowl?

…should be a fait acommpli. While Truman’s Conscience resides in Jacksonville, FL it exists in a world of reality. The Patriots will have their way with us.

I won’t be shocked if the Jags run the ball down their throats. What’s the weather supposed to be like?
Have to comment as you and I seem to be the only two, among few, Giants fans…meaning, we appreciatte hard nosed football, like running the ball, tight ends, and defense.
The Jags are a throwback team, relying on those three fundamentals. But in the era of show and go football they don’t engender much of a following outside of northern Florida and football purists.
I’m not watching the game but I always pull for the team that best emulates the fundamentals of the game, i.e. Jacksonville in this instance.
t’s a good year to be a Giants fan, obviously, because they alway endeavor to excel at the basics. I’ts what I love most about them.
looks like it’s going to be a good game.
The Giants showed for sure that the Pats can be had, or at least competed with. I think a lot of teams took notice of what the Giants did in that game. Namely, be aggressive.
Delrio took it to them in that first drive. Now if they can duplicate that 4 or five more times they might have a chance.
no more turnover, though. Against Brady, that’s suicide. And they need to get a lead so they can run the ball.
Yeah well,I missed that since I’m browsing your site on a Nintendo Wii system my son hooked up :o) and have to switch back and forth.Still, the Pats are vulnerable to aggressive teams. Stopping their offense and avoiding mistakes though is the hardest part of beating them cuz they’re pretty much automatic.
Check back later.
Does this mean I can challenge you to a game of Wii tennis through the internets? 🙂
Challenging and winning are, uh, you know…two different things :o)
Are you trash-talking me about Wii? 😉
We got this thing last xmas so I have a year’s headstart on you. Guess that means I’m trash talkin…yeah! Sucks you can only hit ten home runs so many times and the fun is gone :o)
a-yup,like I said, no mistakes. Also need to come away with not only points but td’s against those dudes. They’re just ugly good. Can’t help but dislike ’em.
I had Seattle as my darkhorse to make it to the Big Dance. The snow changed the dynamic a little. Oh well.
I think the Pats win a tough one tonight.
One of my close friends is from Green Bay and of course is a Packers fan. He’s up there at the game. I can’t wait to hear about being in the stands in the snow.
It’s nice to see football played in the elements, not in a dome. But that Tacoma commercial where the earth is destroyed by alien spaceships is very disturbing.
My pick is Jacksonville..35 New England 21..
put money on that?
Obviously I won’t be picking the Seahawks . . .
That must have been some game. I completely missed it, opting to go out and do something my wife wanted to do instead. But I sort of suspected this would be the end of the road for this year.
GB with a running game is unbeatable. And if you give NE the short pass, they too are unbeatable (Brady, 90% completion rate).
So these are the teams who will make it to the Superbowl. There is nothing to debate.
