It’s too early to celebrate, but there are signs that the fight over FISA is over and the Democrats have won. That, combined with Pelosi’s bold move to kill off the Colombian free-trade agreement, indicates some previously lacking steel in the spines of the Democrats.

Not sure that the Columbia stall is something to celebrate. Check out Sirota:

Ok- the Sirota post is just a rumor and as I wrote to him, – that is more than 6 months away! We have enough to worry about right now. As far as the possibility that FISA is not going anywhere- Gods mouth to your ears! Boner has been so wrong, so many times, that it is hard to by anything that dribbles out of his maw. However, the ramifications of the gop not going to the mat over FISA should be monumental in its potential! If, and I mean if, The dems can get their heads out of you know where and ram this down the medias throats. OVER and OVER AGAIN! If they have to call for daily press conferences, write op-eds, distribute handouts, push ever single 527 to jump all over it, take out ads everywhere!!!
Rasmussen has some new polls out on the GE (via Hope08 at dKos):
things will be way different.
Until then, all polls are useless.
