Go to XXL or culturekitchen to listen to one of the illest songs to come out of this campaign.
Not only is NAS remixing Barack Obama’s victory speech, he’s thrown the immortal Tupac in the loop (and if you know even a little
bit of hip hip history, you know that’s half truth, half joke).
Download it here.
And, you know … don’t sweat the title nor the cover of NAS new album. We’ll talk about that some other time. I just want to enjoy this one and shake my high yellow money-maker to the groove.
Mojitos may not be optional now.
I don’t like Nas or Tupac, but I’ll do it because you said so. π
i don’t care for them either, so we’re bad negras π
but this is really, really catchy.
i’ll put an embed soon.
Am going to update with an embed given that the name of NAS album and some of the imagery in the YouTube may break froggy pond rules.
This is the straight up hotness. I posted it to seesmic, I plurked and tweeted it even! Now, I’m off to post it too my blog.
you have a whole new vocabulary.
Stupid internet is making me stoopid…lord knows if I’ll start tumblring or powncing…God, I’m a dork.
Hey the old white guy liked it.
are the images on the youtube thingy too much for the froggy pond? i had put it up w/o actually looking at it and then i saw that the name of the album was in full display and well … you know what i mean π
go ahead and embed.
i’ll embed under the cut then.
But someone please tell me this is satire. I’ve been laughing for the last 5 minutes over how all illogical it all is. Nice racket though.
Well, it’s a smart way to scam people of some money. Have no idea if the website owners are serious believers but they sure intend to profit off those who do. At $40 a year, its a great deal — for the people milking the fundie rapture cow.
