Oops. No one around all at the same time. What’s shaking on your end, chief?

Jamie Lee Curtis’ new car
Can’t drive out of L.A. though. No H2 stations anywhere else.
Honda deserves credit for continuing to support H2 cars at all, considering that most of their other private and public partners are backing off on installing H2 facilities. Both the state (CA) and PG&E (NorCal’s biggest utility) had been promising to set up H2 stations, earlier this year they changed their mind.
waiting for an end to rain – (9″ in three days) and for summer to arrive.
That’s awful. We’re in a drought, but my sister says on the coast, like you, it’s been so wet that all the home gardens are rotting in place. No cherries this year, no strawberries & raspberries…well, we’re hopeful.
gimme your coordinates, where do we send it.
Fair exchange sans cost: wet for dry.
I was looking at the new Honda that Jamie Lee is getting and thinking that the midwest could be offering up its flood waters to the new hydrogen cars – ‘come to the midwest and fill up!’
Seriously, here in middle easter WA state, the July 4th weekend is when we see our first lightning strikes when whole area catches on fire so I may be getting back to you in a couple of weeks with those coordinates.
here in CA it’s been dry for a couple months already and we’ve got forest fires all over the state. Most years fire season doesn’t get going like this until August.
OK. T-storms, 3″ rain and hail, daytime temperatures 68-72 F – night time lows in 50s coming your way. That’s what the weatherman has been serving up for the past three weeks..and our 7 day forecast, same old, same old.
Bob Barr is making sense!
Yep. He’s been making sense on these issues for three or four years.
People criticized Markos for calling himself a Libertarian Democrat (something I also subscribe to, although somewhat differently) but now it should be clear how a new generation of activists differs from the old liberal bloc.
For example, I doubt you hear too much complaining from the blogosphere over today’s Supreme Court ruling that revokes DC’s total handgun ban.
Having lived in Los Angeles and Philadelphia I know that prohibiting me from keeping a handgun in the house is ridiculous. And I’ve never owned a handgun, but I’ve had plenty of opportunity to wish I did.
Toss out the libertarians opposition to federal action in general and their crazed economic beliefs, and keep their fierce protection of civil liberties and skepticism about military interventions, and you have a Libertarian Democrat.
You won’t hear any complaints from me on that issue: it’s one of those very rare occasions where I agree with Scalia.
PS: sorry about the harsh note last night, this whole FISA thing has me all sorts of angry.
Notice that Duncan said he doesn’t give a shit. Notice Adam B told people not to react in kneejerk fashion. It’s a cultural thing, and it’s a huge difference we have with older Democrats.
Oh, and apology accepted.
I’m sorry that you have a reason to be pissed.
subscription to one genealogical site (www.almanach.be, about Non-European Royalty) and was busy to make sense of its content. Not much as I anticipated but still some interesting stuff.
For example, Jerusalem crown still is under dispute, Juan Carlos of Spain has title (one of many) as King of Jerusalem, his rival belongs to Savoy House, titular king of Italy.
Who has more right on crown of state which extinct long time ago?
Otherwise I was planning to do some personal diary, not sure if it is appreciated here.
Well count me in for reading!
it is funny to imagine them arguing about which one is King of Jerusalem, as you say there doesn’t seem to be much point.
a friend of mine says he knows Constantine Paleologus, lineal heir of the long gone Byzantine empire. CP is a very rich Greek-American businessman, apparently the family didn’t lose nearly all its money with the throne, and have prospered ever since.
