Hoe nederlands in TexasDutchie? Nou, ‘Ingrid’ was al genoment als ‘handle’ en ik wou niet ‘Ingridnummerwatdanook’ zijn dus..TexasDutchie. Ik emigreerde in 1984 (hehem) naar Canada, werd Canadese denkende dat ik daar zou blijven maar om een lang verhaal kort te maken, ik ben nu getrouwd met een Amerikaan, met twee kinderen en wonende in Austin TX.. vandaar TexasDutchie. Nou a ‘Dutchie’ is ook een rozijnen donut van Tim Hortons’, een Canadese ‘chain’ (die al voor een poos is opgekocht geweest door Dunkin Donuts), dus TexasDutchie is Nederlands/Canadees/wonende in Texas.. voila!
