Technician in Liechtenstein Turns Over Names of Americans With Secret Bank Accounts

Hundreds of super-rich American tax cheats have, in effect, turned themselves in to the IRS after a bank computer technician in the tiny European country of Liechtenstein came forward with the names of US citizens who had set up secret accounts there, according to Washington lawyers investigating the scheme.

Liechtenstein’s veil of secrecy was pierced five years ago when the disgruntled technician, Kieber, downloaded the names of foreign citizens connected to the secret accounts.
Kieber reportedly sold three CD’s full of names and data to tax authorities to 12 countries including Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy and the United States.
Tax authorities in Italy published the full list of names.
Could we the People finally see what this ‘Trickle Down Economics’ really is, but not as laid forth by the believers?
The names of the US citizens are now in the hands of the IRS and Senate investigators.
I’ll just bet many of those believers are on the list, and probably lead the pack!

Kieber is now in “deep witness protection,” said his attorney, Jack Blum of the Baker & Hostetler LLP law firm in Washington. Blum said LGT and other banks were probably among those getting subpoenas from the Senate panel. “The Congress has a perfect right to ask for information,” he said.
Liechtenstein prosecutors have said they are investigating Kieber and have demanded his extradition.
Blum said he can’t communicate with his client because Kieber is being carefully protected. Blum said he’s trying to help Kieber collect a reward for as much as 30 percent of any money collected from LGT Group clients by the IRS. He said Kieber had received “so far from the U.S., nothing at all.”
