The big feature of this year’s Netroots Nation is called ‘Ask the Speaker’. Starting at about 8:30 local time, Nancy Pelosi began answering questions from ordinary netrootsers. After about an hour she got a question about the environment. And out of nowhere Al Gore’s voice began to answer. Then he appeared at the back of the stage. He is currently giving a speech about Global Warming. This was an unannounced appearance and a big ‘get’ for the convention organizers. Pretty cool!
