We’re having some nice cooler weather here too. This is my favorite time of year…the weather is nice enough to go walking in the afternoon without melting.
Do you get to go at lunch? I used to do that when I worked in the office, and it was such a refreshing break from the fluorescent lights and my coworkers. made me feel ready to face the afternoon. 🙂
Yawn about sums it up for me. Are you tired, or bored?
I was up in the middle of the night for a while, which keeps happening lately. The state of the economy freaks me out. The good news is that I’m going to be busier at work till the end of the year, so I won’t have to worry about picking out that shopping cart to push my belongings around in just yet. 🙂
Did I mention that I’m back to doing my 5 mile walks again, now that school has started back up? I forgot how much I missed that.
It must be nice to get your walk in before the work day starts. Some day when the kids are grown and gone…
I’ve been using my walk as a “lunch hour”, but I don’t think it’s happening today. We have house stuff happening this afternoon, an emergency visit to the orthodontist, farm pickup, and hopefully meeting up with AP and her hubby at DL tonight.
I’m sorry you’re not sleeping well; I can totally understand why. I have a few more years before retirement than both of you, and I’m still feeling panicky. ugh.
I’ve been lurking around, but a lot on my mind. Otherwise fine, except that I broke a rib in practice last week.
swimmer loves it – both the academics and the social side.
Hey there. We made it back–fell into bed and went fast asleep. I didn’t even unpack. Heh. Thanks for everything and will e-mail later. Just found out I have an assignment that’s due TODAY. WTF?
I will be slaving away today. First up, writing an abstract for my paper so I can send it in before the office opens…
I’m looking forward to the friday flogging. I’m also looking forward to the start of my photography class Monday night – maybe I’ll have some new pictures to post. 🙂
There’s a big crowd of tourists in town this morning. It would be a good day to stay off the streets, but I’m headed out to hear our governor candidate, Jill Long-Thompson speak. We moved mountains to get her here and I’m not missin’ it.
Its brightened up considerably now. It’ll be a good day for the Democratic Party picnic later today on a nearby farm. Andi, you can almost see this place from yours (Brand Hollow). I’m bringing homemade cheesecake.

Happy Monday!
Good morning, CG! It’s beautiful and cool here!
How was your weekend?
We’re having some nice cooler weather here too. This is my favorite time of year…the weather is nice enough to go walking in the afternoon without melting.
I’m walking also. Just a bit shorter than yours though. 😉

Ouch. John McCain’s chief-of-staff, outed.
Funny.
Because the only thing that keeps coming to mind for me is Yawn.
Yawn about sums it up for me. Are you tired, or bored?

Tired — like you, neither Jim nor I are sleeping well and I’m sure anxiety has a lot to do with it.
Great news on the walking. I just got back from mine. Pretty soon it’s going to be too dark too late for me to walk in the morning on weekdays. Pooh.

Good morning, Andi!
Looks like we have a great day coming, 58 now and we’re getting to 70.
I don’t think we’ve “talked” in awhile. How’s everything with you? And how’s swimmer liking college?
I’ve been lurking around, but a lot on my mind. Otherwise fine, except that I broke a rib in practice last week.
swimmer loves it – both the academics and the social side.
Ouch … I hope you aren’t too sore.
And wonderful that swimmer is enjoying college.
First couple of days pretty much any movement hurt, more dull now and not too bad.
Ow. I hope you feel better soon.
And I’ve missed you in the cafe. I hope everything works itself out.
Good morning!
Did you get curly’s mail the other day?
Let me look…
yes. It’s about the 25th, right?
I’ve replied now. 😉
Cool, she left for work, but I’ll let her know.
Hey there. We made it back–fell into bed and went fast asleep. I didn’t even unpack. Heh. Thanks for everything and will e-mail later. Just found out I have an assignment that’s due TODAY. WTF?
:<)
It was great to see you last night! Glad you made it home in one piece. 🙂
Echoing CG’s wishes for you!
Thanks, boran!
Sneak out from the overlords and take a walk – it’s great outside now.
“What hump?”
I can say with complete sincerity that the world became a distinctly less beautiful place the day Marty Feldman died.
Tomorrow’s theme is Song Lyrics, Song Titles
Good morning, Andi!
Good theme, I look forward to see the posts.
It’s been a lot of fun picking out both the pics and the songs.
I’ll bet you have some shots from Norway that would work really well for this theme.
Just stopping in to say hi. It looks like another beautiful day here.
I just got back from my walk and am hoping that you are out enjoying yours.
I’ll be walking later, if it doesn’t rain!
and so am I, even though I’m off today.
The diary is here and you should be there posting your pictures.
Ooh, you’re off today? I am SOOO envious.
I will be slaving away today. First up, writing an abstract for my paper so I can send it in before the office opens…

You know, you don’t have to wait till you take the class — I know you’ve got pictures right now you could post.
I’ll try to post a couple after I get my paper sent in. Honestly, we have so many talented photographers around here that I feel a little intimidated.
Hi all! It’s a deluge here! With a weekend washout we’ll have to find a way to entertain the b2 boy.
I am so jealous. We’ve barely had any rain since mid-July. It’s really feels weird to put out by gorgeous weather (sunny and in the 70s).
There’s a big crowd of tourists in town this morning. It would be a good day to stay off the streets, but I’m headed out to hear our governor candidate, Jill Long-Thompson speak. We moved mountains to get her here and I’m not missin’ it.
Wow, its awfully sleepy in the cafe this morning!
Good morning, id!
Agree, and it’s so dark and dreary outside that I consider returning to bed.
Its brightened up considerably now. It’ll be a good day for the Democratic Party picnic later today on a nearby farm. Andi, you can almost see this place from yours (Brand Hollow). I’m bringing homemade cheesecake.
She should be there!
Hope your picnic is a success.
It was a pleasant afternoon and I’m stuffed!
Looks like fun! It’s so pretty in your neck of the woods.
Happy dark, cloudy day! Ugh.
Brighter skies are on the way from here. Hope they reach you before the day is out and Monday when we have to return to the salt mines.
Damn those things are relentless.

(No this pictures has nothing to do with relentless Mondays … I just liked it.)
Good morning, Andi!
Sleeping 7.5 straight hours is wonderful…
But it’s still gray and muggy outside.
Good morning Andi & ask! I hate Mondays almost as much as I hate daylight savings time.
Good morning, Andi, ask, and ID!
I finally put up a new cafe this morning…
