Congressional polls are beginning to show the same Democratic surge as the presidential polls. Things seem to be coming together at just the right time, as I had hoped. Remember, there are 70 potentially competitive Republican-held House seats. And many of them are starting to tip in the Democrats’ direction.

I also predict that either the sun will come up tomorrow, or it won’t.
But seriously, if you want to know my actual prediction, I think Palin is going to bomb tonight. Just one miscue will play into the narrative that “Palin isn’t ready”. Just as John McCain needs to win every current swing state to take this election, Palin needs to sound competent on every single answer. One gibberish soundbyte like that bailout answer last week will be enough to sink her.
Of course, Biden could screw up even worse somehow, and thus make them both look like fools, but I’ve seen Biden debate and he’s pretty good. This is really a mismatch of all time, with the very real possibility of being a bloodbath. I sure hope so.
I have heard she is also very good tactically in a debate, so I would not underestimate her in that regard, particularly since tactics are all she’s got.
I hope she bombs. Nothing would make me happier right about now, but given that she does not have an never will have any kind of grasp of anything substantive, I would count on her to have her strategy and tactics down, and to use them ruthlessly.
A brand new crop of cowards and thieves.
However…let’s look on the brighter side of things.

And by that time we will have experienced a “recovery”. Oh. You didn’t know? That is the sole reason why Democratic terms are generally more profitable for Americans than are Republican ones. The Dems are simply unprepared for the taking of their newfound opportunities due to their rare ascendance to a position of real power. (“I saw my opportunities and I took ’em” said the old Tammany Hall ward heeler George Washington Plunkitt back in the day when Dems were actually crooked enough to be able to truly run things in certain places.)
So it goes and thank the Lord for His small blessings.

It’s crazy. I thought we were going to be the next Ohio. When I knock on some doors in the next few weekends, I hope to tell undecided voters that McCain is no longer interested in our state.

McConnell used a WW II veteran in an attack ad and twisted his words. Now that guy is rightfully pissed and Lunsford has counter-attacked using the same veteran calling McConnell a sleaze-bag liar.
Kentucky really now is in play.
