Today’s NY Daily News front page.

I walked past a newsstand and had to do a double take.

Now…the Daily News has drifted a little to the left over the past several years, pushed there as much by the Faux News-like screeching of the NY Post as by anything else. And also by the ever-changing racial demographic of the lower middle class in general in NYC, of course.

But still…no one is ever going to confuse it with The Daily Worker.

Or even the NY Times/Washingtoon Post/Newsweak/Faux News Left group.

But there it is in black, white. red, blue and yellow.

LOW BLOW!

Coupled with the words “McCain” + “desperate” + “attempt”.

Complete with an exclamation point.

It’s all over but the voting.
Now admittedly the story takes second position to some lame sex scandal, but still…

Just sayin’.

I think it’s over.

They have no more ammo.

Unless it gets down to guns.

And if it did…this country would literally explode.

The pressure of the Bush years?

9/11?

The total failure of the economic system?

The total failure of the governmental system?

Katrina?

The (now) perfectly obvious to all but the lowest IQ-ed citizens total falsehood of the Blood-For-Oil Iraq invasion? Which didn’t even work!!!???

What the fuck!!! They’re not even good at being criminals.

Actually I don’t think Palin is that self aware. I foresee a war immediately upon her assuming office. Probably with her favorite bête noire, Russia.

These numbers, buried in the internals of a new Fox News poll out today, are the first time a national poll has tried to gauge the impact of Barack Obama’s association with William Ayers. And the numbers are pretty bad for McCain:

For those who have seen the youtube video of the brother at yesterday’s Mccain rally passionately begging Mccain to go after Obama and bring him down in the next debate, his name is James T. Harris (as reported by The Field Negro blog). His passionate plea starting with ‘massa you will never know how many ass whuppins I’ve taken just for supporting your name…” By the time he started begging Mccain to really go after Obama and “bring him down”, the all white crowd were on their feet wildly cheering.

I previously thought that the angry White guy who ranted at mccain’s Wisconsin town hall rally was a good pick from the Actors Guild. (The White guy was yellin that he was angry over the possibility of Mccain losing the election and leaving us (implied White people) “scared to death” (over the prospect of a Black President.) But Steve Schmidt really out did himself hiring this Negro (Brotha Harris) whose passion and pleas to ‘massa Mccain was straight out of the movie “Gone With The Wind”. I almost expected to hear Butterfly McQueen’s high pitched voice in the next frame saying, “Lordy Miss Charlotte, I don know notin ’bout birthin’ no babies!”
Expect in the days ahead to see a lot of different folks from the Actors Guild courtesy of the Mccain campaign…
