Depleted figure. Liking the sound of that, even though I don’t get what it means. Must be poetry. The only image that comes to mind is a used condom in a dark alley strewn with broken glass.

Like Bush it’s still dense as hell, dangerous to handle, and still manages to kill a lot of people over the last eight years.
No matter how they package it, the GOP will be the party of “wrinkly old white dudes” for many years to come.
They’ve lost the “intellectuals” the moderates, the fiscal conservatives and most of the northeast and west coast. The GOP will be the party of the Old South and fundamentalist Christians.
They can sit around in back rooms, drink and bitch about how its not like the old days anymore. Still, I’d keep a close eye on ’em. As a group, they’re far more dangerous than anything else I can think of. Just MHO, you understand.
