War is never cheap, no matter what neo-con men like Paul Wolfowitz tell you. And that’s just the money side of the equation. The human cost is incalcuable.

Under GW Bush’s incompetent administration along with those of his immoral henchmen – Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bolton, Rice, Wolfowitz, Libby, Gonzales et al, our ship of state has become a ship of fools. Yes, war is folly and it is most useful from time to time, to review the articles that you cited. Lest we forget kind of thing.
With these neocon leaders we have evil incarnate. Whatever they touch at home or abroad turns into shit. So unwinable wars rage, the economy tanks, respect for honesty and morality declines, the culture becomes more barbaric; look at the popularity of ultimate fighting or that murderous ode to violence and destruction, “The Dark Knight”. And, now the greatest Ponzi scheme in recorded history.
Such is the Bush legacy. Can we reverse it? We better. For our own sake and that of our children. To the seventh generation.
War sucks!
Six hundred thousand dead and two million driven from their homes.
Bush is lucky it was only a shoe. Its beyond comprehending the damage that has been inflicted on the Iraqi people. Jefferson trembled when he reflected on a just god. He would have died of a heart attack if he had seen this insanity.
