Conservatives are enraged that we still are blaming Bush (well, really Cheney since W was just the front man) for the mess the country is in after 100 days of Obama’s first term. I don’t know why. They milked the “Blame Clinton” card for eight years and counting, after all. I think Democrats and liberals are entitled to blame Bush for at least as long. The vast majority of Americans agree with us, after all. Not to mention a few Nobel prize winning economists. Well, except for the one who just blames Republicans, in general.

In my view it all started going to hell with Ronnie. Remember the air traffic controllers and the trickle down theory of “economics” (don’t look now, but I think somebody fixed that leaky faucet about 1981). Bush I, “it’s the economy stupid” showed us that we cannot afford even short wars. Then the most Republican of Democratic Presidents good ole Bill of NAFTA shame created the notion that middle class jobs could be shed at an ever increasing rate forever without any negative effect. Finally Bush II completed the raping of our culture in the name of laziness and greed gone completely out of control. BTW Chrysler (the guys who make the Abrams Tank and Humvees among other vehicles) filed chapter 11 today. Obviously BO is most definitely to blame for all of this, just ask Rush.
