I’m really excited about seeing Star Trek and I think I’ll plop down a couple extra bucks to see the IMAX version. Everyone says it is fantastic. However, it just burns me up that the ObamamessiahONE is going to get a private viewing of this film in the White House!! Who does he think he is, anyway? He probably won’t even have to pay for his Juju Fruits!

We saw it today.
Young asklet has never been a Star Trek fan earlier, but today, he was spellbound.
Great fun and entertainment.
I haven’t heard a bad word about it from anyone. Just raves. I’m psyched.
BTW- did you know black folks love Ward Connelly?
trekkie purist and went in skeptical. They’re a few details I could quibble with but overall the movie was fantastic. I’m already looking forward to the next one. Good stuff!
Speaking of Presidential privileges, I would pay money to see Hillary & Joe Biden mocking Barack in the White House bowling alley.
It’s the best one yet – bar none. I’d have preferred someone over 100 lbs to be cast as Uhuru, but other than picking that nit it’s an outstanding movie.
Uhura
No doubt he’ll be eating a turkey dog with Dijon mustard on it…the elitist pantywaist.
Yet another candidate for entitlement reform.
Movie popcorn is the only way to go.
The movie was great.
I like that is was the best of both worlds. It kept the faith with the original mythology (catchphrases, character development and mannerism..the guy who plays Spock is dead on good) but made it fresh enough so that my younger sister (18), who thinks the Star Wars started with Episode 4-5 and who couldn’t really tell the difference with Star Trek, loved it as well. She came away from the film wanted to learn more about the “Star Trek” backstory. Looks like Star Trek has born another Trekkie
I loved it. Just loved it. My wife did too, and she usually keeps Trek away with a ten-foot pole.
Trek was and is light years better than Star Wars. Who wants a future where we have regressed 700 years to issues being decided by aristocrats with swords?
I do wish the producers would bury the Kirk character, the protaganists of the Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager TV Trek series had some dignity to them.
I loved it. I was shocked by how much I loved it. I’m not a Trekkie, but I think JJ Abrams kicked butt with this movie.
