Fortunately it’s only the “burnables” box (paper and cardboard we use to start fires in the wood stove) that got raided. We’ve given such raids “tacit” approval (too much approval would take the fun out out of the thievery).
I don’t think they are. They aren’t ponies and their build seems much stockier. But there does seem to be a similarity so I wonder if they don’t have some ancestors in common.
The more traditional type fo Haflingers can be very stocky, as they were originally used as draft ponies. But, if they are over 15 hands they are definitely not Haflingers. Other guesses would be American Cream Draft (a light draft breed) or just plain palominos (although the mealy muzzles are atypical).
She was someone’s dog, then abandoned and pregnant under a year old, fending for herself and her pups outside. She’s a little neurotic, but very very attached to Colin. I’ve never seen anything like it. She doesn’t even know how to play.
Hope obviously knows he screwed up and can’t watch.
Your boy and his girls are very obviously in love. She’ll get better with time. I’ve had several rescue dogs and they couldn’t be more grateful for a loving home.
I promise I’ll be good.
And we got bored.
Your captions are almost as good as the pics, especially this one and “Look I’m being good and sitting! Now, let us in.”
And Hector’s bunny buns (and paws) are luscious.

Aww…I need to post pics of our bunny buns,,,he (Jambi) has grown so much!
Yes you do.
Jambi is a fine name for a bunny.
“we are competing with all that mass of cute keres posted.”
But a few of the horses we go by on the way to the recycling bins were pretty blase about it … and everything else.

What lovely Haflingers.

The cream draft is more likely. They’d be a bit toward the lighter end but they are used to help with logging to keep damage down on steep hillsides.
Another possibility would be Belgian Draft crosses. Whatever their ancestry, they’re purty.
Hope and me watching Grey’s Anatomy, just before McDreamy realized he screwed up Izzie’s surgery and she has no short term memory…
I have never seen a dog so completely attached to a boy. Now if she’d just stop chewing her fur off and remember she’s in a safe place…
That was quite the GA episode…
Poor dog, that chewing looks painful. Was she a found puppy?

Aww, how sad. Glad Colin took her in.

Looks to me like Hopeful doesn’t think much of the plot developments. Either that or she’s just much more interested in your feet.
That’s a great picture of Colin and his dog. You can feel the devotion.
That face could almost…almost…convince me to adopt again.
At least you can come here and get a partial dog fix.
The face that stole my heart…and broke it when he left:

I can see why.
