I’m kind of annoyed that a certain unnamed former front-pager here seems to have figured out how to de-list me from Technorati. That means I don’t get listed at Memeorandum anymore, hurts traffic, and just chaps my hide. It’s taking me a half-hour to reclaim my blog and this is after giving up the other day. Anyway, I need this link: Technorati Profile in a post on my front-page to confirm I own this damn blog. Talk about something annoying a co-worker has done to make your life needlessly aggravating. Or, co-workers that went suddenly insane when faced with a black Democrat running for the presidency.

That’s who I would have guessed, but I don’t know if he ever blogged here. That guy definitely went bonkers early last year. Went from providing informed Bush criticism at TPM to ranting about Obama’s Nigerian relatives and rumormongering about “whitey” tapes. That guy lost it.
So my second guess is SusanHu aka SusanUnPC. She followed Larry right into batshit crazy racist cuckooland.

it might just be technorati. They’re migrating to some new platform. Some days it acts as if my own little blog was not claimed by me. Then it’s back to normal as if nothing ever happened.

Whatever the reason for your delisting, this is unfortunate timing. Within the past few weeks many progressives have been seeking a hospitable community blog — some of whom want a forum where they can have a reasonable discussion on I/P. I recommended this blog to one such seeker just a few days ago (I post as Loney M. Setnick on a site where they’d rather have pony parties than deal with unpleasant events in Israel/Palestine.)

How do you know who tried to delist you at Technorati?
All of this is a bit opaque to me.
Now doesn’t that sound familiar.
A couple of weeks back I was driven out of a couple of drug policy reform blogs because i was critical of Obama. At the same time I found, and thought that it was a coincidence at the time, that my blog had been de-listed by Technorati. It was a true pain in the ass to get listed again.
My transgression was my being too critical of the authoritarian Democratic Party leadership in America. What was your transgression Booman? Did your break with the writer have something to do with your allowing criticism of the Democrats and Obama?
This is not new to the Democrats. I have been attacking the Democrats since 1996 because of their support for the war on drugs. And in each election I have had professional Democrat hackers working overtime to keep me off the internet. They have it all and they simply don’t want anyone to criticize them and rock their boat.
