Of course. Everything is for playing, sleeping, or eating. The best things are a combination of play and sleep or play and eat (at least my dogs haven’t hit anything yet that’s play, sleep, and eat).
It’s really hard to get pictures of Sniff and Bebo playing because right now it consists entirely mad chases round the house and woods (with Giddy barking on the sidelines).
Ah, the fascination of the squirrel. It never gets old (if you’re a dog).
We don’t have a similar critter here. The possums are more like small raccoons, and not very active during the day. Tasmania does have Sugar Gliders, but alas they don’t live in our part of the island.
We thought we were giving the dogs our old futon for a bed. Turns out it’s actually a wrestling mat.

Eating is always followed by playing, followed by sleeping, which is usually followed by eating.
You’ll notice that when wrestling Luna usually flops down and lets Lily do most of the work.

Yeah, there’s lots of charging about here as well – but as you say, it’s hard to photograph.
Wrong place for that subject.
Can’t get enough of your dogs.
Is that Lily on top peering up at us? Wow! She has really grown!
That is indeed The Monster Puppy.
She’s about half Luna’s size – and she’s not yet a full five-months-old (which she will be next Tuesday).
Got lots of this as well.
The sun is setting, and it’s 4:30pm. Winter solstice is only two days away. After that, the days will start to get longer again. Woohoo!
Above: last night.
Below: tonight.
Wow, your skies have gorgeous sunset competitions. No way I’m picking a winner. Besides, we have to see what tomorrow’s sky has to offer.
As well as this.
The Green, the Green, it burns.
The top one has especially fine lighting and Bebo strikes quite the pose.
We’d just had several days of rain and the woods had clearly enjoyed it.
I was thinking of titling that top one “Look Homeward, Doggies” (though, of course, they were really trying to figure out where the squirrel went).

Furry critters that can fly … oooh, wouldn’t that just drive the dogs crazy.
It’s almost 90 out and humid as hell and the sun is really bright so where would a dog pick to sleep?
