   Probably the least shocking thing I learned today was that Cracker Jim Bunning is voting against Sotomayor.

   Zell is still around? Hasn’t he suffered apoplexy and exploded yet? The old fool’s like a cartoon character. Too bad there are lots of folks out there who agree with him and defend him.

   The Gorilla Glue press release is great. They don’t advocate gluing the leader of the free world to his chair in the Oval Office. heh

   Bad news on the Open Thread: Walter Cronkite passed away today at age 92.  RIP to one of the best newsmen ever, IMHO.

     Definitely one of the most trusted men to go before a TV camera.

     I’ll always remember his covering the Apollo Moon Landings…even more than his editorial of the Viet Nam war credited with turning public opinion against the War…
