Booman Tribune Fantasy Football

It’s that time again. If you’d like to join us for our fourth year of Frog Marcher’s fantasy football at Booman Tribune, go to this LINK at Yahoo Fantasy Sports and sign up by clicking on the yellow “Join a League” tab. If you are not registered with Yahoo you will need to do so, but registration is free.

The league is open for up to 12 teams, eight of which make the playoffs. No money is involved unless you wish to make your own side bets (about which I know nothing). Our live draft is tentatively scheduled for 2:00 pm EDT on Sunday, September 6th, but that date and time can be changed if necessary. If you are unable to attend the draft, your picks will still be made for you automatically. I am the commissioner of the league, and have a team I co-manage along with my teenage manga and anime obsessed daughter, who always gets to pick our team name. If you join, I imagine you’ll be able to figure out which team is ours fairly easily.

I need an open thread. All this hysteria re the “release” of the “Lockerbie bomber” is just ridiculous. The case against that guy actually being the bomber was questionable to begin with. I’m writing something up re this now – but FYI for some history of the case, from Bill Blum:

Thanks for doing this again! I was just thinking about this the other day. Rabid Rabbits are back – watch out! Hopefully, I’ll do better with my first round pick this time (I had Tom Brady last year) D’oh!
