Good morning CabinGirl! Is that one of boran2’s rock formations? If so, it appears that skies are clearer where he is at the moment. We’re a bit dreary ourselves here today.
Well, if I’d just stopped by the FFF first, I’d have known!
I made a couple of attempts to connect to BT and ET last night around 8 – 9, but got timeouts for both. Other sites seemed to be ok. The grandkids were here overnight, so there was good alternate entertainment. I had never seen Disney’s “Charlie the Lonesome Cougar” before;-)
We’re still shy of our yearly average, but a few weeks of sunshine would be greatly appreciated at this point. What we really need is staggered sun and rain. That’s what really gets the grass growing.
BTW, I get flashbacks every time the grandkids (3 & 6) are here overnight. The little guy wants to haul all his toys into the tub with him. Friday night, the electronic rhythm/music generator whatsis got thoroughly dunked when our backs were turned for a moment. Guess its now dry enough to put the batteries back in and see if its still functional;-)
That reminds me of an electronic fire engine of yore, which made the sickest sounds as it was dying and did not have a replaceable battery. First I put it in the backyard so it would die quietly, but it went on for days…finally I immersed it in a bucket of water. The dying sounds only changed into gurgling dying sounds and it took another 3 or 4 days to finally give up.
Yeah if I can remember to keep the choppers in. But George doesn’t seem to care one way or the other. 🙂
Regardless if she was looking for material or not, it was still a good thing.
I have a friend that told me he had put up a lot of family pictures on facebook, and he talked me into joining. Well I did the join thing very fast and forgot to write down my user name and password. No combination I try will get me back on. I’ve been thinking of trying to open a new account, but haven’t attempted it yet. I’ve done the thing where you send them the message you’ve forgotten you password, but after four tries I’ve never heard a thing back from them. Oh well, what can you do?
Just open a new account. I know when I do a search for my X he has at least two accounts. I think he must have done the same thing you did.
I always said I’d never join…but it’s a cool way to reconnect with long lost acquaintances. And you can set privacy controls so people you don’t want to deal with can’t see you.
I sent you a friend request…usually FB will send you an email notifying you and then you can click on the link. Did you forget what name you used, cause I can tell you that!
in the swamplands of Pennsyltucky..

It is indeed a picture from the sunnier clime that boran2 is currently inhabiting. 🙂
I think our whole weekend is supposed to be dreary. Time for indoor chores, I guess.

Yeah, I couldn’t wait for boran to post another photo for us. 🙂
That’s odd that you got the timeout. We were hosting a house full of teenagers last night, so I wasn’t online at the time.
I tried connecting briefly around 11:30 and by then it was ok.
Here’s hoping our weather comes your way — it’s been sunny and in the 70s this weekend. And it’s going to stay that way through the week.
We had half a day of sunshine today – before the rain came back.
Too bad she can’t get Hector to be her pillow. 😉
I guess the drought is definitely over.

This is funny…you might recognize some names in it.
That was sweet. 🙂
The funniest part is someone’s mother is going to find out her daughter is going through a divorce in the Sunday paper….
Oops. Maybe someone in Cleveland can liberate that section from mother’s paper today?
What a good idea!

LOL! I hope it works for you. 😉

Our noisemaker has expired peacefully, thank FSM!
That was a great column. And it did an excelelnt job of capturing your wonderful personality in a few sentences.
Good morning everyone.
SN that was a truly nice thing to do. I’m glad someone noticed it and wrote it up.
Hope everyone is doing fine. We’ve had rain for two days and should have it for the rest of today.
Hey FM, I hardly recognized you when you walked in to our little Cafe here… 😉
Hi SN,
Well I couldn’t let it go by without telling you how nice that was. Plus to have your good deed published. Wowwy!
You hardly recognized me huh? My big nose and ears didn’t give me away. 😛
I think it was the new choppers that made you so stunningly handsome! 🙂
It wasn’t such a good deed. The writer is a facebook friend of mine looking for material.
Yeah if I can remember to keep the choppers in. But George doesn’t seem to care one way or the other. 🙂

I found you! 🙂
I wish I could find me. 🙂
I sent you a friend request…usually FB will send you an email notifying you and then you can click on the link. Did you forget what name you used, cause I can tell you that!
I’ve gotten six or seven friend request, but haven’t been able to get on. Yep I forgot everything. The name I used to be a good starting point. 🙂
you used the WB one with the four-letter first name.
Thanks! I’m off to try and get back on.
Quick, friend SN so I can find you. 🙂
Hi CG,
I finally got back on!!!!!
I did friend SN, so I should be there. I’m still trying to figure out everything I can do over there.
I found you now!
Good! I haven’t written anything yet. I’m still trying to friend all the people who sent me emails. Mostly my nieces. 🙂
Hey, it’s my new BFF! 🙂
Hiya BFF – does this mean we have to start acting like spoiled Hollywood kids? 😉
Well maybe … if we really want to fit in with the facebook crowd (or is that more a myspace thing).
Actually I’m sure which is which, and shouldn’t they try to be fitting in with us?
Nieces? So I guess we have to keep it PG-13.
Yep I would think so. Now I think I should have joined under another name. 🙂
C’mon….we have SOME manners.
Ah your memory is short. I remember the good old days in the cafe.
the margins wouldn’t ge busted. 🙂

Hey, I have question. Since life doesn’t come with an instruction book, which instruction book that you do have will have to make do?
I’m gonna go with the one for my Panasonic Digital amplifier. Lots of inputs and balance options but only a few outputs.
heh. 🙂
Instruction book? Instruction book? I don’t need no stinkin’ instruction book. Ain’t nobody gonna make me RTFM.
But if I guess if absolutely forced, I’d go for cookbooks since they’re all about finding the right proportions to make stuff work well together.
