What have you learned over the last 24 hours?

That republicans usually act like children who throw temper tantrums, interrupt people who are speaking and lie quite a lot,
Oh wait I already knew that.
I learned that Booman’s predicting skills are off!!
Hillary reportedly to resign THIS FALL to run for governor (you had said she would definitely stay till the end of Obama’s first term)

(Yeah, I realize the story is probably bogus, but it’s on the internet…)
Heh. The Weekly Standard never makes shit up.
The boss hears from two sources

great sources.
Just how powerful the internet can be. Rob Miller has now recieved contributions in excess of $400,000.00 (via actblue) in less than 24 hours.
Now he’s up to $576k. I’ve learned: to think before I heckle the President in a joint session of Congress, should I ever become a wingnut Congressman.
republicans are total nutballs.
obama is infuriatingly opaque.
harry reid is not just a penis, he is a TOTAL penis.
adding one can only hope taegan goddard is right: harry reid’s seat is now a toss-up.
Is John Feehery four years=old?
Most four-year-olds I know have better reasoning ability than that.
that some cell phones micro-wave your temporal lobe more slowly than others.
If UPS left a package by your front door and it didn’t have your name on it, what would you do?
A) Call the handy 800-number printed on the label and report the mistake?
B) Decide to keep pretty little things that aren’t useful to you?
The answer for one family in town is… keep my stuff! Now, UPS will go to their house (they won’t be home) and leave a note on their door asking them to please call the 800-number. I feel like asking the sheriff to visit them. Is this not theft?
If it had been the U.S.P.S. it would be a federal crime.. may still be.. another joy of privatization..
shouting “you lie” did his Republican buddies a huge favor. He took all the attention away from the actual health care debate and made the entire news cycle about him. Coming home just a while ago listening to NPR it was the lead for their 4:30 newscast. The fucking LEAD – almost 20 hours after it happened.
You know how you said Blanche Lincoln is not really known at Ag? Turns out that’s not quite the case.
Blanche Lincoln As Ag Chair? Say It Ain’t So.
I was being generous because I hadn’t researched her record. I also know that even with Harkin our Ag policy has been totally insane. But, yeah, agricultural policy just took a big hit.
Not accusing you of anything. But that’s what I’ve learned since the latest “the Speech.”
I’ve learned that I don’t know what Obama’s trying to do and I no longer care.
Actblue can withstand traffic that candidate (or incumbent) websites can’t.
My former girlfriend is staying on her meds now. I’m happy for her.
I wish I could say I learned something new political, like from Obama’s speech, but I didn’t.
Unfortunately I have learned that this community does not really deal in reality. That’s a shame. It’s an awful waste of lots of good talent. I’ve also learned that my pointing this out won’t make a difference; that those who I am directing this to are those who will object most vehemently.
We’re a pretty diverse community here, don’t paint with too broad a brush.
That there is a (‘nother) person who decided going after the 9/11 plotters was too hard or at least used that as an excuse for inaction..
Note that Atta was suspicious of the FBI informant, likely meaning he WAS al Qaeda or had been tipped off, both hair-raising options were somehow ignored to go after ‘wannabes’..
I learned the Iraqis have a single-payer health care system as laid out in the post-invasion government’s constitution. Funny that.
Where did you learn that?
A comment thread at another blog I visit. I have to dig it up, can’t remember which thread off hand.
Here it is:
