Baby
I want to see you tonight
I know it’s late
I don’t want to fight
I’m at a party
Where am I? (Echo Park)
In Echo Park
The band has stopped playing
The keg is all dry
CHORUS
You call me up because I’m sober and you wanted me to drive
I’m getting tired of being treated as just a free ride
I finally figured out that you’re just a thorn in my side
That’s withered dull and dry
Baby
How could you say
Such mean, and cruel things to me?
My friends have all gone
I don’t know how I got here
It’s too far to walk
I’m in four inch heals
Hmm, I was unaware that Sirota now has a radio program on Clear Channel (AM760, 9-noon Eastern). Thought you might like to know that.

Booman:
I am the father of 1 22 yr old and 2 19 yr olds. I didn’t sleep a single night thru from 1986 – 1993. It was great! I envy you, you have a baby coming…
Get a camera that does not require much care. Take pictures. You will be shocked in 10 years about how many pictures you did not take.
You and baby will adapt. The first 3 months are hard, since you are trying to adapt to baby, and trying to get baby on schedule. This will happen, just slowly.
You will really enjoy holding baby. It’s a great feeling.
Good Morning Booman,
What an exciting time for you as a new Dad! I just sent a few coins as I really, really enjoy your blog.
I don’t know if you had a chance to catch the 3 hour concert on HBO – 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame from Madison Square Garden this Fall. This was not an awards show it was ALL music with at least 20 great musicians doing their thing. These two guys still harmonize so beautifully so if you click on it, turn up “The Sound of Silence” loud on your speakers to enjoy. 🙂
btw, for anyone who subscribes to HBO, it’s available free on HBO on Demand for another few weeks – for sure the best concert I’ve seen on TV in years.
Because I was just reminded of it (over at the DKos Woozle-and-Pootie diary), and it’s Seasonal:

thanks to you, and all the others that have made contributions. It’s a big help at this time of year and with a baby on the way.
And thanks to everyone for all the great fathering advice. It’s very helpful.
