Two dogs does not a pack make, but it’s been interesting since the boy and his dog moved back home. Here, Emma models her Cosby sweater, which fits her so well it looks like someone knitted it directly onto her. And she’s skinny and shaking all the time, so don’t give me any grief about putting clothes on dogs. Hopey is jealous because she’s a little too “plus sized” to look good in tight sweaters.
She’s not so saintly as she is long suffering. It helps that we intercede on her behalf when they are inside the house. When they are outside and in high spirits Luna gives as well as she gets – there Lily is the one who gets rolled the most.
She’s been a great friend the past month. I learned that she was getting up a few times at night because of loneliness in the other room so moved her bed to mine and now she sleeps straight through.
and good will to bunnies!
It’s been such a bumper year that this pair was out in our yard supervising their third clutch of fledglings.
One of the babies:
I love the stubby tails (compared to the adults, who have long ones).
Gorgeous photos keres. I find myself sans animals now and just live for the Dog Blog.
Happiest of holidays to all y’all.
Thank you, and to you as well.
Wishing you the same, Alice!

Fabulous. I love the sweater and it’s good to see Emma looking so well.
That top photo is too funny. The look on Hopey’s face…
Ah, Bassetts.
Pretty great pictures, SN!
Likewise, I’m pleased to see Emma looking so fine.
Hopey isn’t jealous — she knows that there’s just more of her to love. 🙂
Emma looks fantastic. My Pack is all impressed with how stylishly she carries it off.
And with your cats, you’ve got enough critters for a NC Pack.
How cute! Does Lily ever get tired of pestering Luna?
In a word. No. She is however getting a little more self control as she grows up. She only turned 11 months old yesterday.
Pyrs are slow to mature – taking at least 3-4 years to get all of their growth, and all of their brains.
Luna is a saint to put up with all of that.

Thanks again for sharing your critter pics with us, keres.
Many compliments on the fine drawing above! I can almost feel Bart’s breath on my nose.
You’re welcome Wench. And thank you.
Santa’s mini-spare – Albert.
Always in our hearts.

(well Bebo would say Happy Holidays if she would just hold still long enough).
Thanks Andi. Same to you.
Luna and Lily are so envious of your snow.
I fell asleep on my couch reading and woke up to this:
She just knew there had to be a way to get comfortable up there. It’s such a blessing to see a dog when you first awaken, you lucky guy.
Feliz, feliz, feliz Navidad Manee.
Igualmente, Alice. Have a great holiday.

Such a sweetie. And your dog is one too. 🙂
Merry Christmas, Manny. I hope you have a splendid day and very happy New Year.
She’s adorable Manny. Oh, and nice tree.
