In 2000, Italy pardoned Agca and extradited him to Turkey, where he was convicted for the murder of prominent journalist Abdi Ipekci, two armed robberies and escaping from prison, crimes all dating back to the 1970s.
The Turkish authorities had released Agca in January 2006 amid a legal mix-up, but re-arrested him after eight days when a court ruled that reductions to his jail term under amnesty laws and penal code amendments had been miscalculated.

And dang – the video does not appear to be online, but some years back I saw this documentary made of film the Manson ‘family’ shot of themselves. Squeaky was giggling about how cool it was to drink human blood, or something equally horrific. This is one woman who I hope we never hear from again, because if we do, I fear it will be in a tragic context.
More interesting was the likely murder of Pope John Paul I, as uncovered by David Yallop in his very interesting nonfiction (despite the label on some sites) book “In God’s Name.”

Wasn’t that kinda woven into Godfather III? Basically JPI wanted to clean up the corruption .. and so others had it out for him .. and then they appointed a guy who only lasted like 5 months .. then we got JPII
Never mind .. I just read that .. JPII did indeed follow JPI .. and JPI lasted 33 days .. interesting reading
