I’m very pleased that there are Democratic senators who are raising awareness of the Republican abuse of the filibuster rule, but it will only make the Democrats look more useless if they don’t, you know, do something about it.

Looks like Roland Burris was among them. Strangely, he will be something of a loss this election cycle – he is routinely named among the most progressively voting Senators. Apparently doesn’t push forward his own initiatives, but aside from that – well, that and the whole Blago thing, oy – he’s been a total non-headache for progressives.
