Not us (Imogen is on a plane right now), oh, and we’re not Jewish (or anything for that mater).

The big news here is that I just ordered us a composting toilet.  Well, it’s exciting to us.  We get to fill in our disgusting septic system after I install it. We’re looking forward to the lack of smell.

    Simple pleasures for simple people.

I’m happy for you! The more composting the merrier. I’ve looked into it for our area, but the hitch seemed to be keeping a steady enough temperature without central heating ..

I’ve also looked into be keeping, but I’m too spacey.

I got a Nikon D3000 and also got a zoom lens and tripod to go with it.  It has stabilizer as well which will help with the slight shaking in my hands due to nerve damage. I am really looking forward to playing with the camera and all the different stops and all that.  Since I cannot work, I need a hobby that gets me out of the apartment. This one should do it.

      Ooo, dat’s purdy, too.

A dream sequence quickly to follow.
      …………….

DAMN. I ordered an iPad, which will be coming in a month, or so. )I justified it as a great way to take depositions, read books, and save time for my office.)

Frankly, if you have not visited Guttenberg e-books, please go. FREE, GREAT, CLASSICS and more. all for your reading.

AND, Amazon, just created a Mc’Laptop reader, that lets you read the same e-books, you already bought for your iPhone. YEA! more books.

(wait, I connect it all up). So, not only can I read my books on my phone, which is really OK, now I can read the same books (amazon, Guttenberg, and more) and news on the laptop.

And then I get an iPad.

      • AndiF
AndiF on March 31, 2010 at 6:07 am

Guttenberg is a great resource. But I still don’t like extensive reading on a computer screen. As far as e-books go, I’m very much a Luddite.

I, too, am addicted to paper. My library is overflowing. Every room has a couple of books, mostly open. And the bathroom? A pyramid. Every month, I remove all books, and every month the pile regrows with finished books.

How are you this morning?  I finally have my laptop back from the CBs this morning, and a few free minutes this morning (Finn is still sleeping, alon with all the other fellas here).

I’m off to the gym later this morning with my mom.  It’ll feel like one of my old Fridays from last fall. 🙂  I do miss having every Friday off.  And then I need to take the car in for inspection, and  finish putting my tax paperwork together and drop it off.  Wait, maybe this isn’t really a day off…

Everything is starting to bloom here, and while it looks lovely, my nasal passages aren’t so psyched..

Ugh, much too busy a day. I hope you’ve penciled in a nap somewhere.

We’ve got lots of little green stuff on the ground and the maples are showing some action and a few of the poplars look to be budding but that’s about it. I’m hoping all the warm weather will be an inspiration to things to get going but usually there’s not much until mid-April.

Good morning froggies!!!  Hope everyone has a great weekend planned.  I will be heading out with the camera and on a shopping expedition today.  Still looking for some canes to add to my growing collection.  I am thinking of getting one that folds down into a seat to take out when shooting pictures. LOL

I think you need a cane with a carved ram’s head.

I saw one on line that had a curved dragon body that was beautiful.  I am more of a dragon person than a goat person. Of course, the goat might be better as I get older. LOL

Well dragon are flashy but the ram’s head is classic. 🙂

If I find one I like, I will probably get one.  I have already ordered to formal canes on line. LOL  I will take pictures when they arrive.  I also plan to take better pictures of the ones I already have.  Currently, I have 3 I really like and one that I got from the doctor that has been retired. LOL
