I’m glad that “U.S. documentation is helping judges to overcome the hurdles of impunity in Uruguay,” but I wonder whether we can do the same here in less than thirty-seven years. Is there hope? Not if these people have any say in the matter.

I could barely watch that video. Just like Julian said today on Ratigan…it’s like they’re in a video game.
When I went to see Harry Potter 6 in theaters, I’ll never forget the military trailer that I saw. It more or less portrayed war as a video game. I can’t find it on YouTube, but I know it’s there. They even say in the damned video, “This isn’t a video game,” or “This isn’t like any video game you’ve played” or something. It was revolting.
