Not Agribusiness “farmers” (i.e., large corporate “persons” who receive lots of government assistance) but real human farmers struggling to raise their families in rural Wisconsin. And they showed they don;t care for Scott Walker and his budget antics either:
WOW! Who is this speaker? Talk about a firebrand!
He’s a great spokesman, WOW is right!
Tony Schultz, a family farmer, a man who has had his come to Jesus moment, I think, thanks to Scott Walker.
It’s easy to forget about the role of small farmers in the economy and the fight they face trying to keep BigAg out of their backyards. Not surprising that the big dairy interests came in on the side of the pro Walker and a good time to remind people that small farmers are a national security asset!
It’s so easy to forget that there are still regular people who can think and understand. Throughout the WI affair we’ve seen and heard them. Which brings up the eternal question: how did we end up letting the ignorant slugs run everything and almost make us forget that not all Americans are stupid?
When the voter turnout is huge and the polling gap is wide, it’s not so easy to rig elections. Low turnout and/or narrow gaps = the best politicians money can buy. Plus, a huge majority of not-stupid Americans simply don’t believe that voting makes any difference.
he is so on point. bravo.
Republicans have been screwing over these farmers, just like thay have been screwing over teachers, firemen, law enforcement, and others for generations.
But yet republicans continue to be elected to office.
Why?
Because people like this farmer and probably 99% of the people in this crowd vote republican.
