I’m probably about to lose power since I lose power almost everytime there is any kind of powerful thunderstorms. So, it was nice knowing ya. Maybe I’ll see you around some time.
Post some cool videos, just make sure to use the old embed code (check the box). Or just make some inane or astute comments.
Adios, man of boo. We will miss you.
Anybody wanna walk me through a simple way to embed a video here?
Sure. I didn’t lose power, so I can help you out.
Go to YouTube and find the video you want.
Under the video will be a button called “Share.” Click that.
It will give you a hyperlink, but ignore that. Below the hyperlink will be another button that says “embed.” Click that.
It will give you some code, but that code won’t work here. There will be a box underneath the code that says “Use old embed code.” Check the box.
It will give you new code. Depending on whether you are using a MAC or PC the procedure will be different, but you want to highlight all the code text (example on Mac, Command+A, example for PC, Ctrl+A). Then cut it using either Command-C or Ctrl-C. Then paste it into a comment here using either Command-V or Ctrl-V.
Voila.
The video may or may not show up in preview mode, but it will display once posted.
Here`s a little video of my friend`s images I made into a slide show.

Here in SW Ohio we lost power, but only briefly. It was off long enough to make it necessary to reset all of the clocks, anyway. It was an impressive line of thunderstorms with brilliant lightning and very loud thunder.
My folks live just five miles away from us, and they got hammered. I called my mom after the worst had passed, and she said their power was off, tree branches were all over the yard, and there was a sound of water dripping somewhere overhead in the attic.
So today my sons and I will head over there for some yardwork and repairs.
I just saw them last Friday, July 2. They were in Arlington Heights, IL, at Frontier Days (THE Arlington Heights outdoor festival). Rock-n-roll!!!
How the mighty are fallen, eh?
