When I saw that former Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle and current Congressman Jon Runyan (R-NJ) had compared Michele Bachmann to Terrell Owens, I thought he meant it as a compliment. Turns out, not so much.

Obama’s administration is really on a roll. First the State Department effectively endorses the Canadian Tar Sands project. Now the EPA has given up on the new Ozone regulations.
I can’t wait to see how the Obama defenders blame these two actions on Congress and argue that Obama is doing the best he can. Lily Ledbetter and all, you know.
Or maybe the Obama defenders will argue that Obama never promised to address environmental issues. But I doubt that — i think even they know, deep down, that this is yet another case of Obama betraying his campaign promises.
Or perhaps they’ll tell us that this is just another brilliant rope-a-dope move — that ANY MONTH NOW Obama is going to leverage all those times over the past two years that he took the GOP position on the environment and turn the tables on all his doubters.
When they start planning the video for the 2012 campaign I suggest this slogan: “No, we can’t”.
Yes. Canadian tar sands.
If the Canadian government is gonna insist on developing that petroleum source, are we supposed to lobby them out of it? That’s not practical. We can’t make Ottawa be greener. And if there’s crude to be had, why not have it be refined in Texas? Canadian crude is geopolitically cheaper than Venezuelan or Saudi oil.
Yeah, you’re right. Who gives a crap what other countries do in terms of CO2 output. Can’t possibly impact US. Besides, as I’m sure Clinton, Obama, and the GOP would tell you, US companies will stand to make billions from this environmental disaster – or at least their CEOs and boards will.
Screw what our own scientists and EPA tells us. It’s Obama – he’s got a D by his name. Therefore it must be good.
If the Canadian government is gonna insist on developing that petroleum source, they can keep all the leaking pipelines on their side of the border.
Can we stop talking about Michele Bachmann now? Now that Perry up and stole all her thunder, she isn’t even gonna be worth a historical footnote by the time the campaign is done.
No. Got to keep her saying stupid stuff. If the GOP should win in we don’t need for her to be rewarded with the Sect. of State job.
Just remember one thing. Orange Julius put her on the House Intelligence Committee. Think about the ironies that abound in that one.
Terrel Owens and Tim McKyer were the bane of the 49’ers locker room. Throw in Deion Sanders and you had a toxic stew of undisciplined, narcissistic prattle. Too many stars, not enough light.
Rick Perry could be cast in the same light as TO. The best move the 49’ers organization ever made was to get rid of TO at their earliest convenience.
Good Hair needs to hang out for a while…otherwise someone as bad or worse than Obama might win in 2012.
