I might be more convinced by the argument that Central Park carriage horses are treated inhumanely if you weren’t trying to benefit financially by winning the argument. We have our own debate in Philadelphia over the carriage rides that go on in Society Hill. The horses should be treated better, but that doesn’t mean we have to buy your electric cars.
