Here’s is something that is incomprehensible to me. Why is Herman Cain’s wife going to do an interview on Fox News defending her husband against allegations of sexual assault and harassment? How could she possibly know the truth about these allegations? She can say that he’s a great man and a wonderful husband and that he’d never drunkenly proposition an underling at a conference or shove an unwilling woman’s head into his lap. But, she doesn’t know. She’d be the last person to know. All she’s doing is setting herself up to look foolish and she won’t help her husband at all. From what I understand, several women are going to have a joint press conference where they each describe Herman Cain acting inappropriately with them. Collectively, they’ll have a lot more credibility than a women who wasn’t present on any of the relevant occasions. Mrs. Cain should stay out of it. What she should do is carefully listen to the accusers and make an honest judgment about whether they’re telling the truth. Because, if they are, she might not want to be married to the Hermanator anymore.

How many spouses will believe some other person over their spouse? Not many. Not to mention Cons always think those DFH’s are always out to get them, always. Better question is why haven’t we heard much about the spouses of the GOPer candidates. Do we know what Mittens’ wife does? Have the corporate media reported on Perry’s wife? Cain’s? Bachmann’s husband(besides his corndog incident)?
No, they haven’t and that’s interesting because Liz Edwards, Michelle Obama, and Bill Clinton were large profile characters in the Democratic primaries.
Mrs. Cain did not campaign for Cain’s senate run in GA. It’s like she never leaves the house and why she would leave it now is a mystery.
That one’s easy to answer.
For the past week, folks have been reminded of how Hillary Clinton “stood by her man” and remarking that isn’t it interesting that Herman Cain’s wife has been silent.
It campaign-directed.
Boo, you are too nice a guy! Seems clear someone pressured her into the interview, though it’s difficult to say if it’s the campaign or Cain himself who told her to do it. His future earnings are at stake, so I’d guess it’s Cain who pressured her. Interesting that we know nothing about her and that she didn’t participate in his sen campaign – do they live separate lives and just have an agreement not to divorce? I’m thinking she knows what he’s doing/ did.
She’s being pressured. Cain went to her and probably begged til his knees were red.
And you know what? I believe she knows exactly how her husband behaves with other women. These weren’t just a few cases, this is Herman Cain. He cheats, he flirts, he harasses, etc. I would put money on it.
I vaguely remember Jon Stewart doing a sketch on how it was traditional for a politicians wife to appear with him and support him after he’d been caught cheating. I hadn’t thought of it before, but it was disturbing. Isn’t it bad enough dealing with the dishonesty, the betrayal, and the public fallout without being expected to make a public show of support?
What is Cain’s wife doing?
Pondering the size of the diamond she’ll demand to make up for all this.
