It’s comforting that women hate Mitt Romney, but it’s strange that men don’t show the president more love. It’s true that men would rather vote for Obama than Romney, but they don’t give him high favorables. Meanwhile, women under 50 give Obama a 31% advantage. It’s almost two-to-one. Imagine that! Women of reproductive age don’t like the Mittster. Could it be because of the unrelenting assault the GOP is waging against women’s rights and interests?
You think, maybe?
Belvedere, the Republican vodka.
Repeal the Nineteenth Amendment!
You beat me to it!
People who are more likely to be subject to the Republicans’ depredations are similarly more like to appreciate the job Obama has done fighting them off.
Maybe because Romney is the guy who wants to fire you and give himself a raise? And then take a management retreat to the ski resort?

Maybe because unemployment is still way too f-cking high?!?
Maybe because unemployment is still way too f-cking high?!?
If that’s the problem, men are forgetting why it got so high in the first place.
Fair or not, the buck stops at the President’s desk. So that’s who people blame. And there is one other problem. When is the last time President Obama talked about fixing the mess W gave him? He doesn’t. Unlike Ray-gun talking about fixing Carter’s mess(wasn’t true .. but it didn’t stop Ray-gun from lying about it .. and after all .. it worked).
I’m definitely not saying you’re wrong. And I agree Obama could do more to remind everyone what a shitpile he was handed, though I could forgive him for opting against it on the grounds that he’d sound like he was whining. (I would disagree with him on that call, but I could understand it.)
Maybe during the campaign this year he’ll do some looking back – I think it would be very effective for him to remind everyone just how far we’ve come, what kind of cliff-dive we narrowly escaped.
wasn’t this the look back you’re asking for?

That’s the central theme of the campaign video/documentary they’ve been flogging. So, other than that…well, he’s also been discussing it on the stump.
Maybe because unemployment is still way too f-cking high?!?
It’s not high among women? Women don’t mind unemployment being high?
Your answer has nothing to do with the question.
How can you not like this guy:
“Obama meets Hawaiian woman, asks to see her birth certificate”

they’ve always hated women – the GOP.
my apolitical female friends wouldn’t believe me when I told them.
but, it happened that the stars aligned, and women,
apolitical women,
had a series of ‘isolated incidents’
that were neither ‘ isolated’
nor
‘incidental’
that FINALLY spelled out the anti-woman PATTERN
that even the most apolitical women could understand.
Dude, be careful with those line breaks. I almost skipped your comment because I thought it was Arthur Gilroy.
AG is in the obligatory 9 month period of mourning for the death of the Ron Paul candidacy.
The period of mourning began roughly 10 min after Ron declared his candidacy.
Yep.
Bet on it.
You betcha.
Bet on it.
Yep.
Bet on it.
Yep.
You Betcha.
Bet on it.
You heard it here first.
Bet on it.
I can’t believe I’m the only one who can see it. This is all part of a carefully choreographed strategy. After the suffragette laws are rolled back, the long game will reveal itself in all its misogynistic splendor.
Forty years ago teh Stupid was less pervasive. Soon we’ll talk
ERA NOW
Many people don’t know that this never passed. It might put an end to the ridiculous battles over same-sex marriage.
Can we now encourage our Congresspersons to cosponsor and support this amendment?
The ERA needs to be amended to include gender.
this is good
