John Boehner’s problem can be summed up this way: 56% of Republicans think we should deport children who were brought here illegally by their parents many years ago, who attended our schools, who graduated, who have no criminal record, and who want to work. Fifty-six percent is a big number when you consider that 86% of Democrats and 66% of independents support the president’s policy change on immigration. Boehner can complain about it all he wants, but it’s his own party that hates the browning of America so much that it’s frothing at the mouth to deport these innocent American kids. They’re even spreading stupid conspiracy theories about how this policy will lead to nearly a million decent American law-abiding non-citizens participating in our elections. It won’t. These kids will not be able to vote. But why shouldn’t they? They are as American as every other kid they grew up and went to school with. Republicans don’t want them to be citizens because they don’t want them to vote. They want them to leave because they don’t like looking at them. So, Boehner can put that in his pipe and smoke it.

Pretty much.
And wait til the “illegals” start marrying native-born US latino citizens, and becoming citizens via marriage. And then they start voting then. It’ll take a few years, but whooo boy, you can smell the fear of a brown planet.
I despise these clowns, and their futile battle to prevent the future. I look forward to their comeuppance.
i’ve been lmao-ing continuously since Obama’s announcement, at all of the “progressive” hand-wringing armchair campaign “experts” who have been non-stop whining about how horrible Obama is at campaigning.
best part is, they won’t learn. ever.
On the contrary, Obama is superb at campaigning, he rivals and perhaps surpasses Bill Clinton. It’s governing that he’s horrible at. Perhaps he’s learning. We’ll see after the election. Will we see the campaigning Obama, or will it just be Etch-A-Sketch like before.
the tears of people like you, when Obama wins, will be almost as sweet as those of teabaggers. 🙂
Why would I cry about escaping Romney?
Just for the record, while I think Pres. Obama’s made his share of mistakes, I think his biggest “problem” with governing is that he took office in the midst of the worst economic disaster in 80 years. (Unlike FDR, who had the “advantage” of taking office 3 1/2 years after the 1929 stock market crash.)
Obama had a record as a center-left Democrat who would compromise on means to achieve (largely) progressive ends. He ran for president as a center-left Democrat would compromise on means to achieve (largely) progressive ends.
More specifically, he ran promising to end the Iraq War, refocusing on the Afghanistan War, and rebuilding America’s alliances and reputation around the world. As president, he’s ended the Iraq War, refocused on the Afghanistan War (and begun to end it), and rebuilt America’s alliances and reputation around the world.
Domestically, he ran promising to focus on health care, energy and education. As president, he first had to deal with the economic collapse he inherited—which he did (partly) by passing the Recovery Act within a month of taking office. He then won passage of the Affordable Care Act, despite unanimous Republican opposition. Energy and education reform legislation have been blocked by Republicans, and by Senate rules. In the wake of those legislative losses, Obama has used his executive powers to make progress on both issues.
For better or worse, Obama’s presidency shows signs of his training as a young community organizer with Gamaliel: understand your power, don’t rely on the media, dig in for the long haul, think and plan strategically, use tactics your people will understand and support.
Still looks like the third term of Bush to me.
then you were either not paying attention during President Bush’s term or not paying attention during President Obama’s.
Then you run for office smart guy.
They will, after the changes in enforcement priorities, still be subject to hunting, and killing from the air by drones, but now just like the rest of us, instead of subject to hunting, and killing from the air by drones in a special illegal-alien way.
Does anything else matter?
Secure the border!!!
Wonder how those private land-owners shut down to secure the borders are gonna feel if this grandstanding POS is passed.
They completely erased Florida of the map. How convenient.
I’m gonna say this again: Marco Rubio is nothing but a grifter, who thinks he’s a better grifter than he is. Rubio’s fake DREAM ACT was nothing but a damn fake. THERE WAS NO BILL that he was going to introduce. It was nothing but bullshyt to:
that is it.
HOW do I know it was nothing but a fake?
a) where is ONE DEMOCRAT coming forward saying ‘ yeah, I was wworking with Rubio on his DREAM ACT PROPOSAL.’ as far as I can tell, NOBODY HAS SHOWED UP saying this.
b) WHY wouldn’t he push his DREAM ACT bill NOW? I’ve said it before, what the President is only valid up until January 20, 2013. If Willard is elected, it could end at 12:01 pm THAT DAY. SO, why not submit it to become LAW OF THE LAND?
Because, that would mean that Rubio’s ass would actually have to get GOP votes……and, there are NO GOP VOTES FOR THIS.
Rubio was more honest, when his ass said that the DREAM ACT and /immigration ‘ didn’t involve him’, which is why it wasn’t even a section on his WEBSITE even a month ago.
This was all a smokescreen, and the President took that smokescreen and blew it all the way up, exposing the frauds and forcing them to either support what he did, or piss off Latinos even more.
Rubio is a scam artist, who just ran out of his scam. Now, he’ll actually have to do some work in order to gain some respect in the general Latino community, and if he can’t offer Willard cover with Latinos, he has nothing Willard wants.
This has been another edition of “what rikyrah said”.
He’s a fraudster.

party spokeswoman Katie Gordon said the card was not supposed to be used for personal expenses. “The RPOF American Express card is a corporate card and is meant to be used for business expenses,” she said when asked about the party’s policy.
I’ll add it’s also American Expresses’ policy as well. I have had more than one AE card from different places, one a non profit. AE will, at it’s discretion, cancel the card.
“Fully Vetted” roflmao….
“Boehner can put that in his pipe and smoke it.”
You are far too polite about what Boner can put where.
Myself, I’d start with “fold it until it’s all corners, and stuff it…”
I do wonder if Obama specifically timed the mini-DREAM order to wrong-foot the GOP. I rather hope he did, and has a few more rabbits to pull out of his hat in the coming months.
It’s a real dilemma for the downtrodden wealthy class.
They need plenty of poor people– to provide a never ending source of cheap labor for their businesses. But if brown people actually vote– they’re likely to vote democratic, and that means the wealthy might have to pay taxes and follow a few stinkin’ regulations.
Oh, the horror.
