I tried to guess and Anthony Weiner came to mind, but then maybe not.
I’m surprised how the blogosphere has deserted Weiner.
Remember when he got in trouble how the blogosphere rallied around him and begged him not to resign. when he left they were genuinely upset. Now he’s back they could care less.
What happened? I’m not aware of anything he did to lose their devotion.
And what does that say about the liberal blogosphere. One minute they love you, the next they turn their back on you (and in this case, for no apparent reason).
I always thought he was a shrill showboat and kind of a dick.
Sure. But they still adored him. And they took his departure really hard.
Now he’s back and they don’t seem to care. It’s not that they hate him, but they’re indifferent to him.
And to go from complete adoration to indifference without any intervening act raises questions about his former fanatic supporters.
You say ‘showboat’ and ‘dick’ like they’re bad things.
New pictures will probably surface. Repugs will use him to stereotype the Democrats. I don’t think he can be an effective spokesman for the party anymore. Its a shame I thought he was a very effective spokesman. He may never live it down. So game over. It sucks.
This is like the far side entitled “Part of the Problem” a convention with a bunch of people walking around drinking whereing “Hello, my name is” badges.
The NSA.
Darryl Issa. Always a good bet.
If we’re talking about politics, maybe the question should be who isn’t. Might narrow the list down quite a bit.
Who is doing something stupid, now?

Well, I’ve been doing something stupid in attempting to stay with Verizon. But that’s done now. No longer stupid I am.
Putin has gotten a divorce from his wife of 30 years. I think I’ll just wait for it…
I knew Steven Seagal would be a bad influence
.
PM Erdoğan speaks, Borsa Istanbul reacts.
If two minutes of combative oratory demolishing ten years of careful political calculation counts as stupid then hard to go past Erdoğan this week. Someone must have locked his communications director in the mens’ room.
The bipartisan defense establishment apologists in Congress. First DiFi. Then in desperation, they trot out Boehner.
A Texas jury does something stupid. Shocking!

Round 2: DiFi setting up to make Glenn Greenwald a martyr.
Winding down my off day and just catching up on stuff.
Here’s some interesting sports news for fan of USA Track & Field (one of the few sports I do like to follow sometimes even in a non-Olympic year)
Justin Gatlin edges Usain Bolt by 0.01 seconds in Rome 100
I would have to say President Obama. Evil too.
Evil, but not stupid.
Cashing in must be going good for Vietor.
Time to repeal the “Patriot Act.” It should never have been in place.
“‘Shocking’ or ‘lawful? Patriot Act at center of Verizon phone log controversy.”
Not me.
Your obviously lying Vicki. You protest a little too much.
Louie Gohmert just took a breath, didn’t he?
And I’m guessing it was through his mouth…
The NY Times – hands down.
The paper that sat on the Shrub’s original implementation of massive warrantless wiretapping – for more than a year – has decided that PBO has “lost all credibility! Ha!
Yep. Seems that AP and Fox hit a little close to home. Changes perspective when it is their communications that are been scooped up and stored.
HA!
The paper that never retracted or apologizing for the aluminum tubes propaganda has the nerve to critique anyone on credibility!
You are!!!
Please!!!
