If I were a Biblical literalist, I’m pretty sure that this Dennis Rodman-in-North Korea stuff would have me convinced that we’ve reached the End Times.
Come to think of it, forget the Bible. I am concerned that this Dennis-Rodman-in-North-Korea stuff means that we’ve reached the End Times.
I think we must be beyond the End Times. This is completely off script.
Ping-pong in China. Khrushchev to Disneyland. Rodman spending four months in North Korea training a basketball team.
No those are not the signs of the End Times, unless you think the global triumph of American culture is the End Times.
The folks who want to keep North Korea as an enemy are going apoplectic.
So we will either get a North Korean leaders visiting NBA games or just a little remembered basketball game in an out-of-the-way foreign country.
Just that Dennis Rodman was, was a strong indicator. When he joined the Bulls it seemed a done deal. If the Cubs start rolling towards a world Series next year pet the dog, hug the kids, and kiss the wife. And run up the credit card debt too … what the hell.
And something entirely predictable:
George Zimmerman is in custody for threatening his wife and father-in-law with a gun.
Get that lunatic off the streets before he kills again.
Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong-un, that would be a reality tv show worth watching,
unlike the bumbling redneck dumb arse shows they push right now.
Heck throw Zimmerman in for good measure,
but with OUT any guns,
he has to do it with out his extra pretend penis.
I would prefer to see a tina fey scripted comedy , with this crazy-funny chinese lady
playing the Perfect One, and maybe Eddy Murphy as the Rod Man
“Everything sunny all the time always”
disagree. the bumbling redneck shows work because at least some of the characters are likeable. Rodman and Kim are not.
Die Hard. An overconfident idiot who is way in over his head. Only presumably Dennis Rodman isn’t a cokehead and Kim Jung is not as cool as Hans Gruber.
On a related note anybody else have a Christmas tradition of watching Die Hard? My father and me watch it every Christmas Eve much to my mother’s chagrin. I always tell her it is a Christmas movie.
Haha! We totally do the same thing! We watch both of the Christmas Diehard movies and the Lethal Weapon one, too.
Because what kind of holiday would it be without over-the-top cop movies?
Mehh… didn’t the sport of ping pong help goose China-U.S. relations back in the 1970’s?
If wacky Rodman and basketball can do the same for N. Korean-U.S. relations, then perhaps it’s a good thing.
We are living in an endless world!! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mokoolapps.castlespalacespuzzles
Well you couple with Dennis Rodman the amazing performance by 3 illustrious GOP Congressperson in Egypt over the weekend and I believe we may have arrived at the end times. There was Bachman beginning the press conference by saying ” We (Louie Gohmert, Steve King, and Bachmann) are three United States Congressman from the United States of America.” Rachel had fun with that video this evening.
