Dutch PM Rutte Abruptly Calls-off MH-17 Recovery Mission

Most likely the Dutch government has received intelligence of increased violence in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian warplanes straved the city of Donetsk last night. Ukraine has used ballistic missiles in their attack on the anti-Kiev rebels in eastern Ukraine. Russia has advanced 20,000 troops along the border with Ukraine. There is a chance Putin will decide to intervene on the U.N. principle of R2P, the Right to Protect.
Russia has asked for the U.N. Security Council to meet about the worsening humanitarian situation for the Russian-speaking population.

Airlift cargo from Eindhoven, The Netherlands to Kharkiv, Ukraine in joint Dutch/Australian MH-17 Recovery Mission.
Australian cargo planes 24/7 continu flights from Eindhoven to Kharkiv loaded with 100 ton goods. Presumably for medical facilities, six ambulances, a humvee armored vehicle. Two planes are in use. Any idea if more than medical/rescue goods are involved?
Facebook RAAF: Operation Bring Them Home
The Royal Australia Air Force contribution to Operation Bring Them Home has continued, with a C-17A Globemaster transporting medical equipment and supplies into the Ukraine on August 1st, 2014. The Australian Government continues to work alongside Dutch and Ukrainian authorities to ensure the swift identification and repatriation of victims of the MH17 tragedy. (See photos}

NATO warns Russian ‘peacekeepers’ could invade Ukraine
(France24) – NATO officials warned on Wednesday that Russia could use the excuse of an humanitarian or peacekeeping mission to invade eastern Ukraine while revealing that Moscow had amassed 20,000 combat-ready troops near the border in recent days.
Moscow has been steadily building up its military forces in recent days, suggesting that Russia could respond to Kiev’s military gains in eastern Ukraine by launching a cross-border invasion.
NATO’s statement said it was concerned Moscow could use “the pretext of a humanitarian or peacekeeping mission as an excuse to send troops into Eastern Ukraine”. The warning comes after the alleged sighting of several Russian military vehicles bearing the Cyrillic insignia for “peacekeeping” near its border with Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian military has now surrounded Donetsk. They have already begun bombing several suburbs. It could be very bloody when they finally storm the city centre,” Stéphane Siohan, a freelance journalist based in Kiev, told FRANCE 24.
Kiev fears that the pro-Russian separatists will request a “humanitarian” intervention from Moscow if Ukrainian forces come close to defeating the rebels in Donetsk. Siohan described eastern Ukraine’s industrial hub as a ghost town where civilians were afraid of going out in the streets.
But Kiev, US, and NATO really, really want to get to the bottom of the downing of MH17 by the evil-doer Putin.

BTW The UN Security Council had adopted a resolution all hostilities should cease in the crash-site region for the investigaton to proceed with the findings of complicity. The Ukranian Army and the secret service USB has taken the lead to advance on Lugansk and now Donetsk. A great humanitarian crisis is developing and hundreds of civilians have lost their lives and livelyhood. Dutch reporters have filmed and done interviews with the local people getting a different perspective than the propaganda lines of the western regimes.
Time for PM Rutte to call it quits – The Dutch Have Gone Mad [More Mad].
Putin could probably use R2P to invade Ukraine if Russia’s claim at the UN is correct. However, unlike Yanks, he doesn’t seem eager to blunder his way in.

This contradicts all the false publications originating in Washington, propagated by Australians, British, and Dutch officials the crash-site was plundered, pilfered and not well taken care of by the pro-Russian rebels controling the area. The train wagon guarded by rebels in Torez had stored all valuables and personal items found by the locals after the crash.

I don’t need to offer you anything whatsoever. As you know, I live in The Netherlands and have followed Dutch and international news 24/7. I’m right on top of the facts and able to scrutinize westerm propaganda outlets such as BBC reporting.
If you read any of my diaries, the bs drips off the face of Mark Rutte, his statements and his fellow ministers Ivo Opstelten and Frans Timmermans. They are toeing the Washington propaganda line ever since the MH-17 disaster. It really binds the Union. Is Timmermans still a possible compromise candidate for the EU? It seems there is a stalemate – all about Ukraine – between two candidates Poland’s Sikorski and Italy’s Mogherini.

Yes, he did. But there seems to have been a clause in his employment contract that his resignation has to be approved. It has yet to be approved and therefore, Yats has to stick around for photo ops.

The continuing Maidan protest has been ousted by authorities burning out the encampment there. I guess those protesters weren’t okay.
There was an interesting article analyzing the MH17 shoot down over at the Saker’s site from a day or two ago. The analysis pretty much eliminates the rebels from shooting down the airliner.
However, a commenter pointed out that no one saw a contrail from anywhere on the ground. There should have been plenty of witnesses to a contrail in the area from either a Ukie or rebel launch. And even if wasn’t noticed when the missile was launched (damned unlikely) it would have still been around minutes later when bodies started falling from the sky.
There WERE witnesses to a Ukrainian fighter plane near the airliner in the moments before the crash.
The contrails would have been visible to US intel satellites. Which may explain why the US won’t release them. Lack of contrails pretty much eliminates a rocket from the ground taking out MH17.
Meanwhile, the counter sanctions Russia just announced should screw up the European economy just a little more. If supply and demand controls the US market all that meat that the US ships to Russia will be available for Labor Day barbecues at lower prices.
As Dutch journalists have moved through the large area (35km²) and talked to the locals living at the crash-site. One lady said the heavy contrail could have been a ballistic missile. I don’t think she could made the distinction between the two, but a missile going up was certainly witnessed.
As to the blame, one man was sure the anti-Kiev rebels weren’t responsible, the next person said I pray to God it wasn’t one of our men. I will wait for the real investigation, however it appears Ukraine and the rebels (with or w/o Russia) will soon be in a full scale war for survival of an independent East-Ukraine.

??? Police & activists clash on Maidan, tires burn anew in central Kiev
Probably much too complicated for me to figure out what these clashes are about. Or even if it’s a wrinkle in Kiev’s agenda.
The Maidan protesters which were pure for reform, didn’t accept the coup d’etat forced by the Right Sektor, a Nazi group that used deadly violence against the police forces and Berkut. This group was determined to judge the new government on its deeds, apparently they are not satisfied how this junta performs. Great insight!

Two separate investigations. Doing the independent, international investigation into the cause of the crash is the Dutch Safety Board – OvV.
Last ‘official’ press statement is from July 28, 2014. However on the date from my diary it was made known the first preliminary report of Dutch Safety Board was delayed for a number of weeks.
Permission granted to OSCE observers to move debris in search of bodies of victims. The Dutch forensic team didn’t arrive until a few days later, the 31st of July …

Excellent serie of photo’s from Recovery Mission MH-17 at work in Ukraine – 100 foto’s en video’s.
It’s clear the first responders of the local community were present and marked the location of body parts/bodies of the victims. No reason for Obama, Abbott, Kerry and Rutte to demonize the Russian-speaking population of East-Ukraine.

Within the goals and responsibilities of the OSCE SMM Mission in the Ukraine, these people do perform in a professional manner. The OSCE has been in the Ukraine on a number of separate missions. The OSCE mediated with the anti-Kiev rebels because, contrary to Malaysian authorities, the Dutch and Australian officials handled their affairs through Kiev. That didn’t go well, so FM Timmermans and his Australian counterpart Bishop had to urge expediency with a renewed visit to Kiev. The delay of the large group of experts and forensic experts led to irritation by the OSCE observers who had seen dozens of reporters and other visitors come to the crash-site.
The Donetsk region is a war zone and the international press were quickly present near the crash-site. Of course, persons not related to the official group of investigators would be kept abay as far as is possible under these circumstances where the region was under attack from Ukrainian army units and mercenaries hired by regional oligarchs. It’s more than a complicated situation/mess. The usual fog of war and propaganda, from all sides.
The Dutch press/reports/media have been biased anti-Russian from the moment the Malaysian flight MH-17 crashed in rebel-held territory near Donetsk.
