I’m thinking that this woman probably has a subscription to the National Review, watches Fox News all day long, and probably won’t be voting for Mark Begich in November.
Martin Longman a contributing editor at the Washington Monthly.
He is also the founder of Booman Tribune and Progress Pond. He has a degree in philosophy from Western Michigan University.
If you go by “strong dem, lean dem, indie dem” numbers, it’s not much of a change side their last poll from February. This one has those groups totaling 52% for dems, the February one totaled 50%.
In February she led Jeb by 20 points.
I don’t think they’re one for one comparisons, but she is not as strong as people claim she is.
Horrible woman. However, as I once screamed at a truck driver for smashing into my car, and I was a bit out of control, I can somewhat relate to her anger. “Calm down lady” isn’t the most advisable thing for a man to say in such a situation. “I’m sorry (repeated several times), I didn’t see you, and what can I do to help” are better responses.
He did say he was sorry – several times — which had no visible effect on her. The “calm downs” came later.
“Are you crazy?” probably wasn’t the best thing to say, either, but understandable. All things considered I thouhght he kept his composure remarkably well.
Yes, he did remain collected and said “I’m sorry and I didn’t see you.” But here’s a little secret about women when we “lose it,” a man saying “calm down lady” while maintaining his composure is like throwing gasoline on a woman’s rage. Women tend not to go there very often, but when we do, it’s more than just the precipitating event. It’s being regularly and routinely dismissed as irrational or too emotional. Letting it all out against a stranger that has wronged one isn’t uncommon. It passes quickly if the target of the anger says little other than “I’m sorry.”
In my case, it was the third freaking truck that had smashed into that car and all three times I had been stationary at a red light. Plus before the accident, I had had just enough time to get to a shop before it closed to pick up an item I needed for that evening. I finished yelling at him in less than a minute, which is about fifty seconds longer than any angry outbursts last for me — and his “calm down lady” added about twenty seconds to it.
Thank you Marie2, I like your approach to this. We do not see what happens prior to the video. Quite obviously this woman has had the shit scared out of her. Racer X being a real racer has had many such dangerous experiences. Your adrenaline is running wild and only after repeated incidents does your mind get in front of events and you can cope rationally.
So yes her comments were very inappropriate but I think in this case it is appropriate to play the Jesus Card…those w/o sin etc.
I would be real cool about everything and send that video to her place of employment.
Sadly, depending on where she works, she could get fired or get a raise.
Another pleasant day in Wingnutteville . . .
Hopefully somebody recognizes her so her name can be posted side by side with her Fox News hatred.
I am hopeful that Obamacare will ensure that she gets nothing but the best care for her mental illness.
Christ, this person needs to be institutionalized.
More like detox IMO.
So far she has broken several laws. Once the police find her and they will. She will have more world of woe in her life.
Clinton’s leads over potential opponents reduced to single digits:
poll commissioned by McClatchy-Marist
28% Democrat and 25% Republican?
That can’t be right.

It was in Wasilla wasn’t it?
Well, at least Todd was able to buy his mom a nice new car with Sarah’s PAC money.

If she had done that in California she would be guilty of assault, making terrorist threats, and urban terrorism. That’s jail time right there.
Yes, but he was Driving While Swarthy, so he’d probably see more jail time.
Not a National Review reader; that’s way too highbrow. WND, RedState, and Breitbart.com are more her speed.
Let’s hope this puts her in front of a judge. There were enough terroristic threats to put her on supervision with time over her head.
Hey, she has every right to be upset, as he’s both a Muslim and an Atheist!
Just like Obama!
