Actually, looking at the exact memo, that is what it looks like – just vague reports, nothing to act on, no suggestions, no details. I’ve got to say that I would have done the same, maybe without the sarcasm. Now, if there were verbal details …
While Bill was solving his personal problem on his extracurricular activities in the White House … Bin Laden could have been killed in Afghanistan … strike was called off due to presence of Dubai Emirates’ leader enjoying falk hunting with OBL!
If the U.S. would have done proper investigation of all evidence of the first bombing of the WTC building, the blueprint of possible attacks on New York would have been discovered. Intelligence failure all-around. It did happen on Bush/Cheney watch and lots of questions have been left unanswered.
On December 4, 1998, an item in President Clinton’s Presidential Daily Briefing (PDB) is titled, “Bin Laden Preparing to Hijack US Aircraft and Other Attacks.” The PDB says “Bin Laden and is allies are preparing for attacks in the US, including an aircraft hijacking to obtain the release of Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman, Ramzi Yousef, and Muhammad Sadiq `Awda.
