I dunno, I don’t think McConnell will get anywhere with this but the Senate won’t vote to shut down the government or default on the debt and he won’t suffer any consequences for that. The major batshitness problem is in the House. (Remember that the Republican Senators hate Ted Cruz. They don’t want to be playing these games.)
