By the way, there is a side agreement from New Zealand to the US acknowledging that “Bourbon Whiskey” and “Tennessee Whiskey” are geographical branding of whiskeys manufactured in the United States. New Zealand will enforce against whiskeys made elsewhere using those names.
Won’t that violate the ban on country of origin labeling?

If you buy Tennessee whiskey in Auckland, it must have been made in Tennessee. New Zealand will enforce that product identity. If it was not made in Tennessee, someone will be afoul of New Zealand law.
