If, as Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina famously said, the choice between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump is like the choice between getting shot and taking poison, then cyanide is a viable option.
New York Rep. Pete King (R) on Tuesday offered his harshest words yet for Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, slamming the Texas senator on the day of his state’s primary.
“Well, first of all, in case anybody gets confused, I’m not endorsing Ted Cruz, I hate Ted Cruz, and I think I’ll take cyanide if he ever got the nomination,” King said to open his appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” prompting a mixture of laughs and mild exclamations from co-hosts.
The Republican has previously said that he’d “never” vote for Cruz and that New Yorkers considering it “should have their head examined.”
Obviously the problem here is that the cyanide will kill you just as effectively as any firing squad. This unavoidable problem didn’t prevent Lindsey Graham from becoming one of just two U.S. Senators to endorse Ted Cruz, however.
Rep. King voted for Kasich.
I’ve said it before, and I will say it again…
There really is not any difference between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. EXACTLY the same. And there is no difference between Clinton, Trump, or Cruz. Exact same results, exact same Supreme Court.
Just call them HilliTrUz.

Diary documenting Clinton evilness to follow.

Have you totally lost your mind?
Need sarcasm emoticon.

I just want to fit in with the ‘in’ crowd here.

There you go. Poking the hornet nest. Tsk, tsk, tsk. ๐
Now let’s spend 15 posts analyzing the word ‘liberal’ and if, when combined with ‘neo’, it can be used as an insult. After tracing the use all the way back to Victorian times we discover that,
Yes, it is entirely appropriate to use it as an insult to people we disagree with.
.
Yep, some days it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed, or to click on Booman Tribune. Things are getting just a wee bit crazy in these times. Sometimes I just have to look away, for my own sanity.
I keep my sanity by hijacking the occasional Booman post, just for a few minutes. One day he will come along and squash me, but WTH.

Nah, you’re safe, I think. Not Martin’s first rodeo. He’s seen your ilk before. ๐
I consider us the rebels in the hills actually.
It’ll be much better to sit at home than vote for HRC.
We have to burn the village down in order to save it, after-all.
Yes, because as Friedrich Nietzsche observed, “Out of chaos comes order”.
With a side benefit of teaching those neo liberals a lesson they won’t soon forget!

This is hilarious.
Now these GOP members need to watch what they say. See threatening to terminate their lives might entice numerous other party members and Independent voters to support Cruz. They would do this in the hopes that the GOP members would all do the same and terminate their lives.
Actually it is a very sad thing to see a party that members hate each other so much. How can anyone expect reasonable compromising from a party full of people that cannot even get along with one another. The GOP caused this themselves by for years pushing hate to their base. Never has the saying “You reap what you sow”, been shown correct.
Good points about not even being able to get along with members of their own party. It’s taking it to the limit where it becomes every man (using term deliberately) for himself. Taking the Ayn Randian bs “concepts” of self-reliance to it’s natural conclusion.
I get it that there are always tensions & dissent among and between pols in the same party. That’s human nature, but the GOP has become a stinking pile because of their horrid attitudes towards just about everyone, including their own.
The phrase “reasonable compromise” brought a grin.
Let’s hold King’s feet to the fire on this one, and see what happens.
Icky Ted Nugent threatened to either off himself or Obama if Obama won in 2012:
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/04/17/nugent-threatens-death-if-obama-wins-in-november/
Still waiting for Nuge to go buh-bye.
These idle threats are totally stupid but meant to be inflammatory. Go away, King. Go far far away and STFU.
Cruz nominated and King dead?
Or…
Cruz not nominated and King still alive.
Hold on…I gotta really think about this one.
Dum de dum dum dum dum dum dum…
OK. Got it.
I choose Cruz nominated, King dead. Why? Because Cruz will also:
1-Lose the election
and
2- Bring the RatPub Party down with him.
plus
3-Cruz nominated means Trump wasn’t nominated. Another serious plus!!!
A no-brainer.
Later…
AG
I agree with you!
