I’ve been busy today. The youngster graduated from kindergarten and had to say goodbye to the school he’s been attending since he was two and a half. Actually, he’s doing a few weeks of summer camp there, so this wasn’t quite goodbye. But a lot of his friends and half his teachers won’t be in camp, so it was an emotional and sad event. On the other hand, the school couldn’t have been better and he’s done fantastically well there. So, we’re proud of everyone.

Teaching a child to deal with moving on is one of the hardest things a parent has to do. He’s fortunate to have a dad who understands.
Very cool. Congratulations to you, CG & Finn. Another milestone on the road of life.
Very sweet! And it’s nice that there is a gradual transition. I hope you and your family enjoy the start of summer and the kids have a great time off.
Actually, It’s nice to read a post that is good news and no bickering. Thanks!
Congratulations! I can remember him as an infant at the NYC meetup.
Congratulations to the little BooMan 😊🎓
And its not easy for you to move on, either! Hope his next school turns out to be as good as this one has been.
Congratulations! You sound like good parents, and elementary school tends to be a good time for kids and parents, so I think you’ll probably particularly enjoy the next few years.
Congrats. I know what you’re going through, having raised two children myself and now with a partner we’re raising a boy who turned 22 months old today. We’re exploring preschools for him and one of the big issues is how long he’ll get to attend. One of them goes through 8th grade and I’m leaning that way at the moment. Of course they all have strengths and weaknesses so it’s a hard call.
Well done! AH, kindergarten was so long ago, but as I look at my 20 year old, I still see that little girl, too.
